This year, I thought I would split up my end-of-the-year musings into separate posts. Today, I want to talk about the 117 posts written in 2017
January's most notable post was A Letter to Younger Me. This post ended up being the most viewed of all the 2017 posts. It was fun to write, but knowing the younger me like I do, I'm not sure she would have listened!
February's most viewed: January Wrap-Up, and the post receiving the most comments: February 24th's Weekly Wrap-Up and F.F.F.
Evidently, wrap-ups are a good thing as evidenced also in March's most viewed and commented post: Wrapping Up the Month with Thankfulness.
April was dominated by my 6-part series, "What to Do When You Don't Know What to Do," based on my Wednesday night teaching. (I love when I can teach and blog the same material!)
May's most popular post was kind of a tear-jerker: Love Is. Definitely one of my favorites, and this post ranked number 2 in 2017.
June's notable post: Gifts
July's most popular post was one written in response to a question I'm often asked: I'm Not Bored
August had some fun posts for me to write, "Soaked," "Sitting Still," and "Counting My Blessings." I loved writing "Soaked" the most because anytime I can use nostalgia, it makes me happy.
September's most viewed post, "August Musings," was closely followed by "Testing."
October's notables: "Ch-Ch-Change," and "This Is My Story, What's Yours?"
November was the month I featured my praise posts - #8 Faithful Love got the most hits, followed by #6 Good and Perfect Gifts.
December's posts finished up the year with "Merry and Bright" followed by "Homesick." "Merry and Bright" ranked #3 for the year.
As new posts loom in the horizon of 2018, I am asking myself a question I hope you, dear reader, will help me to answer.
What types of posts would you most want to see in 2018?
Do you enjoy most posts regarding:
a. family life
b. road trips
c. bible study
d. encouragement
The Journey, of course, is all of these and more; but, I would like to get a sense of what my readers are looking to find in my posts. Feel free to comment and help a blogger out!

ReplyDeletekeep up the good work :).
I had missed "I'm Not Bored" so I just went back and read it. And say Amen! Left to my own devices, I'm never bored. :) There is always a ton of projects that I want to do or books to read, etc. But yes, in the kitchen, I do get bored too. Even tonight, my husband and I are pondering what to do for yet another meal. ha. Spoiled, we are. Happy New Year, Jerralea!
