Weekly Highlights

I love me some Fridays!

Maybe I'm getting older; but I crave Fridays because I need a break from my fast-paced rhythm of everyday life.

I'm betting I'm not alone.

Finally had some Spring weather!

Whenever possible, I love to end my week reflecting back on the blessings and highlights of the week. I'm not going to lie - this week has been rough - but I'm confident I can find at least 5 things I consider highlights.

1. Silicone mats - anything that makes my life easier in the kitchen brings me great joy. I find it worth it to always keep a stash of parchment paper on hand; but now I've added silicone mats to my supply. I've just used it once so far, but clean-up was a breeze, and I'm already a fan.

2. My church had set a financial goal some years ago that seemed impossible to reach. We are going to meet that goal this month, and I'm so thankful!

3. Last Friday was our core group bible study. May I just repeat myself and say how blessed we are to have this group of friends? It's wonderful to do life with these guys.

4. Speaking of bible study, I ran across this gem:

"I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for He is right beside me." Psalm 16:8 NLT

In other words, don't get shook up. He's right there with you.

5. I'd been putting something off for a LONG time. I took steps twice this week to get it done, and boy! does it feel good.

I'm going to get the victory over this procrastination thing! I am speaking in faith.

BONUS: I listened to Addison Bevere with Annie F. Downs on the That Sounds Fun Podcast #461 and it was awesome, y'all! I took so many notes and I'm thinking I need to buy his new book, Words With God. I'm just trying to decide if I want a paper copy or the Kindle version. I'm running out of space to store my physical books!

I pray you have had a great week as well. God bless, and give Him all the glory, because He is so worthy.

Pausing to Practice Gratitude

It's been awhile since I've popped in to join the writers at Friday's Fave Five who post weekly to practice their attitude of gratitude. I love to join them because God has been so very good to me. I should honor Him with thanks every day.

1. I notice our hostess of FFF, Susanne, has been hosting this meme for 725 times. That's fourteen years, y'all! I am thankful for everyone who hosts a link-up so that writers may have a platform to share their work; but I'd say she is probably the most dedicated one I know. Kudos to you, Susanne!

2. I'm an overwhelmed homemaker. I am thankful for a couple things that make my job easier. First, I love my Alexa show device. She lives in my kitchen, and anytime I use up an item while cooking, I just say, "Alexa, add chili powder (or whatever the item is) to my shopping list," and she does it. It took me some time to get away from my paper and pencil habit for grocery lists; but this is so convenient. I don't have to stop, wash and dry my hands in order to write something on my list, I just say it and keep on cooking. My husband adds whatever items he wants as he thinks of it as well. Alexa will also play music or podcasts for me as I cook.

3. This next thing goes hand in hand with Alexa and that is online grocery ordering. I just pick up my phone that also has my Alexa synced to it, open my shopping app, and get to ordering. I'm usually done in 15 minutes. When my pickup time comes due, I drive to the store, and the nice young person comes and loads my car, then off I go to the next thing. What a time saver! (And it cuts down on impulse buying.)

4. I try to save time because I'm all about finding time to do other things; such as my core group bible study with my besties. Right now, we are meeting one Friday night a month. It's a group of 3 couples and it is so much fun. We eat together, study together and talk and laugh a lot! Everyone needs a group like this.

5. I listened to an audible book, Beth Moore's "All My Knotted Up Life," and it wrecked me in the best way. Without giving too much away, I just wanted to say the way God wove all the strands of her life to come together at this point in time was beautiful to me. Because I believe and trust He will do that in the life of everyone of His believers.

Feasting on the words of St. Paul describing whar love really means:

It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 1 Corinthians 13:5

I serve a God who promises to forgive if I ask. I'm so glad I'm His. (If you'd like to know more, check out "A Ticket Home.")

I pray you have a great week; and I encourage you to hunt for blessings. They are everywhere if you just look.

Praises even when overwhelmed

Hello, dear readers. Although my plans for weekly posting at the journey got waylaid, I'm popping in to give thanks for the blessings in my life.

It was tempting to be upset at all the things happening currently to keep me from achieving my blogging and writing goals. Instead, I am replacing those negative thoughts with thoughts of the good in my life.

(You might want to read my post at Jerralea.com to read more about this mindset.)

I've decided to look at the obstacles in my writing as blessings instead. For instance:

1. I have people who need me. People such as family, church family and friends are always more important than the next big idea or post I'm itching to write.

2. I have important work. It's important for our family that I work. The jobs I have seem vital (to me, at least) for keeping things going smoothly at my churches. I'm not saying it depends on me. Definitely not! But as a ministry assistant, there is much I can do to help my church family.

3. I have ideas. It's a good thing I've so many ideas I can barely fit them in! Ispiration is a gift from God. I might not be able to do them now, but I've food for thought and goals for the future.

4. I have resources. My work provides me an income to make ends meet. True, sometimes I must be creative; but God gives inspiration and helps me somehow find an answer. I'm thankful to have my other half who helps me with so many things.

5. I have a Big GOD! This is the biggest blessing of all. He helps make a way when there doesn't seem to be a way. In fact, sometimes He has an answer prepared before the need hits which happened to me recently. I will be writing a blog post on that story in the near future.

In conclusion, I praise my Good Shepherd who helps me to lack nothing and who makes my cup overflow. He leads me beside still waters and is always with me even in the darkest valleys.

I am blessed. I can't help but think He will bless all who come to Him. No, He doesn't promise picture-perfect rose gardens in which we spend every moment. He promises something greater - a Shepherd who will lead, guide and protect each step of our journeys. What more could we ask?

I just want you to know how highly I value those of you who visit my little piece of the cyberspace to read my words. I believe my calling is to encourage others with words of hope and blessing. Thank you especially to those who respond with comments. You make it worthwhile!

I'm sharing my five blessings at Friday's Faves. Better late than never, I always say.

Weekend Wrap-Up #3

PRAISES

My friends, I hope you have had a fantastic week. My week went by as a blur because of attending the grandkids' games and getting ready to go out of town. Still, there are always high spots:

  • I love the Cobb Salads at Chic-Fil-A! So yummy.
  • New nightgown. So comfortable! (Sometimes those little creature comforts mean so much.)
  • Evening breezes: Even though here in the midwest we were in the midst of a heat wave; by the time of the kids' evening games, there were breezes blowing. It really was not bad at all to sit and watch the kids play.
  • Game night: As a family, we love to play board games or cards after dinner. It's a great way to bond and have conversation; but it has been difficult to find something all age levels enjoy because the twins want to play, too. We found a good solution, the game of Spoons! (It's a game of matching 4 cards and then grabbing a spoon. You always have one spoon less than the number of players, so then one player gets eliminated. It's sort of like musical chairs with cards.) The kids love it if they can grab their spoons before their dad can.
  • Father's Day Get-Together: Because of busy schedules, we don't get to see Malia, Gavin and Rory as often as the other kids, so holidays are important when all 10 of us are together. I'm so thankful we live near enough to each other to make this happen. I'm very conscious that some don't get to celebrate together.
  • BONUS: I've got great Dad memories. My dad moved to heaven thirty years ago; but I cherish all those long-ago fun times

PRACTICING THE PRESENCE

This week I'm persevering with my series, A Rich and Satisfying Life. I'm thinking about changing the way I do things. You can read about it here.

This week also marked the end of my Living Intentionally series for my weekly devotional email, The Pit Stop. I'll be taking a break next week; and then we will dive into talking about God's faithful covenant love. (I'm always looking for more readers. Leave a comment below if you would like to study the word with me by receiving a once-a-week-devotional on Wednesday mornings.)

    PONDERING THE WORD

Remember last week we talked about the fact God does not keep a list of our sins? (See Isaiah 43:25 MSG)

Here's what He did with that list.

13 You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. 14 He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. Colossians 2:13-14 NLT

    PRAYING THE PRESENCE

    Father,

We are so grateful for being made alive in Christ and having our sin-debt canceled. We rebuke the enemy for reminding us of what You have already forgotten. Help us to walk in right-standing with You this week! We praise You for Your mercy! We love You.

We pray this in the Name Above All Names, Jesus.

    So Be It.

    Weekend Wrap-Up #2

    PRAISES

This week I'm thanking God for these blessings:
    • A/C and kids to help keep it running: We are in the middle of a heat wave, and our A/C decided to kick off after flashing a warning that meant it needed cleaning. Living as we do surrounded by cornfields, this is a yearly chore. Unfortunately, our unit is built into a wall and it is a real ordeal to get it out, taken outside and cleaned, then re-installed. Jim is still not able to lift truly heavy things so our son-in-law and daughter came to help. They are the strongest people I know!
    • Things that make me smile: I saw a license plate that read GROCGTR; should mine be PIKRUPR since I do pick-up orders?
    • Getting my ride road ready: We had a new belt, sensor and LED back-up lights installed, tires and brakes are good to go. We are ready to roll!
    • Haircut - due to games my grand twins have and the games my hair stylist's kids have, we've been unable to connect. My hair was getting quite bushy, y'all! It is now under control. Thanks, Selena!
    • The Plan Begins: The first step on the path to a debt-free retirement has begun. I know there might be obstacles along the way but so glad to get started. It's a two year plan that could possibly take three, but either way, I'm closer.

    PRACTICING THE PRESENCE

This week's focus has been on my environment. I'd like to say both physical and spiritual; but my desire is to be authentic, so I'm admitting nothing happened to my physical environment. However, I really feel the spiritual is much more important and causes the physical to line up ... in time.

My next installment of A Rich and Satisfying Life at Jerralea.com was about the environment of our inner thought life. You don't HAVE to dwell on every thought that comes to your mind.

This week's Instagram post adressed environment in terms of we are not here to be comfortable.

    PONDERING THE WORD

But I, yes I, am the one who takes care of your sins - that's what I do. I don't keep a list of your sins. (Isaiah 43:25 MSG)

I know God says in His Word that He will remember our sins no more; but somehow I thought maybe He made a list of how many mess ups I've made. But He says there is no list ...

    Whew!

    PRAYING THE PRESENCE

    Father,

I thank You for all the good things You have brought into our lives. You have truly blessed. Help us to keep our minds focused on You. Let us dwell on good, lovely and worthy things. Help us repent when we we've messed up, extend forgiveness to others and accept it for ourselves as well.

In Your Awesome Son's Name, we pray.

    So Be It.

    Weekend Wrap-Up

This week on the journey, I want to try a little shift in my format and posting schedule. I am introducing Weekend Wrap-Up posts.

    PRAISES

First, I would like to continue the practice of listing at least 5 highlights of my week. I feel growing in gratitude is a very needful discipline.

    • Birthdays - We had two this week. The twins turned 8 and our youngest daughter had a birthday 3 days later.  So thankful to have children and grandchildren to celebrate! Once, we thought that was an impossible dream.
    • Great weather - Monday's ball games were rained out but it has been perfect temps the rest of the week. In my neck of the woods, any weather that is not too hot or sticky is a blessing!
    • Confirmation - One often wonders if their words matter. This week, I received confirmation God is using my humble attempts at encouragement in a way I never expected. One of my pastor acquaintances is using some of my material from my Living Intentional series in a series he is doing.
    • New ideas - I don't always get to tune in to the Hopewriter's Tuesday Teaching. In fact, this week I tuned in a couple days later. But their guest Makoto Fujimura was so inspiring. My takeaway from his talk about slowing down and observing the world around you was to do like he does: focus on one Psalm per month. This is not to necessarily do anything creative with the ideas that come from this practice, but to learn the discipline of approaching things slowly. I'm excited to try this. I'm planning to ease in with dwelling on one Psalm per week.
    • Anticipation: We've two trips planned this summer. We will be visiting my mom and sister - and my brother will come too - and a trip to the beach!
    PRACTICING THE PRESENCE

Recently, I wrote on the dangers of self-satisfied in the post, It is Dangerous to Get Complacent. My premise is that you need to be growing spiritually or else you are growing cold.

It’s kind of a rule: if you are not advancing, you’re retreating. There’s no neutral ground.

I remembered I had written about complacency here on the Journey. I felt believers were living at the same level because they didn't know what was available to them which motivated me to write a whole series on the promises to believers.

Did you miss any of this series? You can click on the following links:
Claiming Your Promised Land, Part 1

    PONDERING THE WORD

Set your gaze on the path before you.
With fixed purpose, looking straight ahead,
ignore life’s distractions. Prov. 4:25 TPT

I love this gem of instruction so much, especially the last phrase, “ignore life’s distractions.” You can only ignore them if your focus is fixed on what He has for you.

    PRAYING THE PRESENCE

    Father,

You have been so good to us and I thank you for your care and presence. May we decide right now to fix our eyes on You. Help us to not get distracted with all that life has to offer;  but to remember our purpose and the goal of doing life with You.

In the mighty name of Jesus, so be it!

    May Reflection Journal

Share something that made you smile

Recently, our youngest granddaughter learned the song, “Our God is An Awesome God.” It’s become her favorite; but Rory sings it like this:

Our God is an Awesome Guy!

    He reigns from heaven above

    With Wisdom, Power and Love,

Our God is an Awesome Guy.

    Hey! She’s not wrong!

Share something that made you think

“It's a relief to recognize that the Lord does not give up on Samuel when he fails to recognize the voice of the Lord. The Lord keeps calling until Samuel recognizes and responds.

I join Samuel and say, speak Lord, your servant is listening.

Who is my Eli. Who helps me recognize the voice of God today?”

    … May 2, 2022, Lectio 365

Do you have an Eli in your life?

Share a song or a scripture that ministered to you

Psalm 143:8 New International Version - UK

Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love,

for I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way I should go,
for to you I entrust my life.

Yes! Think how great our days would go if we were reminded first thing each day how God is going to love us no matter what.

Also, this month I’m sharing two great scriptures for the price of one.

“If you don’t know what you’re doing, pray to the Father. He loves to help. You’ll get his help and won’t be condescended to when you ask for it. Ask boldly, believingly, without a second thought.” James 1:5-7 MSG

Unfailing love and wisdom from the Father! How good He is to us.

    It's the Little Things

It's time once again to pause and reflect on God's goodness in my life.

He just keeps on showing up! Sometimes the week is filled with small joys; which in the scheme of things mean just as much as the big blessings.

It's been a full week; but less fast-paced than usual and I am thankful. I've been able to cross some things off the list; and you know for type A personalities like me, checking off boxes brings lots of joy.

Another small thing that made a big difference is our recent purchase of new bedding. The sheets fit so well (no more popping off of the fitted sheet!) and the pillows are a dream. I was worried about new pillows because the last time I bought some, they gave us a headache. Those pillows became our sham pillows, and we kept on using the old ones. This time, I bought pillows for side sleepers (which we both are) and we are so happy with them.

It's important to do everything possible to promote sleep, don't you agree?

Another great happening this week is Jim was released from therapy for his knee. He is still to do exercises at home and walk, but no more trips to town! This is a blessing in view of gas prices and the fact a therapy trip takes 50 miles round trip.

This week, the twins started their actual ball games. It was a nice break in routine to sit outside on some nice breezy days and watch them playing softball (Baylee) and baseball (Brody).

My mother has been in the hospital and in rehab for most of the last couple months. She seems to finally be on the mend and has had a string for good days. Now there is finally talk about her getting to go home! We are so thankful!

I'm looking forward to a relaxed Saturday with no big projects looming. It's unusual to have some free time; and I am sure going to take advantage of it.

And that wraps up another week here on the Journey. What about your week. Has God shown up in the little things? Have you received some big blessings? Why not share and give Him some praise?

I'm also excited that my post, Celebrating the Fact God Made Us Unique, was featured at Richella Parham's Imparting Grace link-up.

Hey! We were created to be unique. Celebrate your specialness!

I'm linking with the community at Living to Tell the Story to join the writers at Friday's Fave Five. It's fun to go around and read everyone's highlights. (For one thing, I've learned a bunch about all the different herbal teas one can buy!)

    A Week of Blessing

Hello, dear readers! I do hope you are having a restful and peaceful weekend.

We all need down-time after the stressful week we have had. I feel safe in writing those words because almost everyone I know assures me their bandwidth is maxed out.

Our Abba Father knows this which is why He designed Sabbath. It's not for Him because the Word tells us He neither slumbers or sleeps; but we humans need a boatload of rest.

Also, rest is not JUST sleep, it's trusting God for the outcome when you've done all you can do.

I had to do just that on Monday. Before I tell you that story, though, I must first tell you what happened earlier in the day.

Our first daughter, the math teacher, won the prestigious Golden Apple award for our state! There are 10 awards given out of 400 teachers nominated, and she was the only one to receive the award in the bottom rural part of the state. The rest were all concentrated in a large metro area.

It was a big deal! We surprised her at a school assembly. News stations sent reporters and photographers. State political figures showed up. Faculty from her alma mater were there.

She won $5,000 and an all expenses paid sabbatical to attend the Spring semester at Northwestern!

Please understand, I'm trying to not come across as bragging, but I am proud of the grueling 13 years she has put in as a teacher. Nobody knows the countless hours she has spent in lesson prep and all the extra things she does to give her students a great high school experience. She runs Student Council, Prom, tutors, and is the cheerleader coach besides being the only high school math teacher at our tiny rural school.

This past week was Mother's Day and I want to say I'm so thankful for my children. They are amazing young women who have awesome work ethics and each has a passion for different things. Besides my teacher daughter, I have a daughter who works for the Soil and Conservation District and runs the State Envirothon competition and another daughter who is the office manager for the area Do-It-Best Hardware Warehouse.

I'm also very blessed to have my awesome grandchildren.

Now, back to my story of trusting God. Mondays are normally my writing days (or I should say evenings). After all the excitement of the day, making dinner and getting the kitchen cleaned up, I told Jim I had about half an hour's work to do at my computer, then I would join him for our nightly ritual of watching game shows.

I plopped down in my office chair and reached down in my tote bag for my hard drive. IT WAS NOT THERE!

Cold sweat ran down my back. My entire writing life, not to mention all my pictures, and files for my second job reside on that hard drive.

I clearly remembered zipping it up in its little case and putting it in my totebag thinking it barely fit and I needed to clean the tote bag out. Yet I searched everywhere, and it was not in the bag, or in the car, or at home.

Where could it be? I had dropped one of the Golden Apple signs from Elissa's big day on the sidewalk by the church. All I could imagine was when I bent over to pick the sign up, the hard drive must have fallen out of its perch in my tote bag. It was probably lying in the street. Or worse, it could have gotten run over by a car!

Only one thing to do. Jump in the car and drive back to the church and see if it was still there.

Oh, I prayed all the way begging God to let me find it. Finally, I remembered God is in charge of my life. He has promised to guide me. If the hard drive was gone, He would help me to write new stories, take new pictures, and most of my job's info was backed up. I told Him I trusted Him come what may.

I pulled up to the church. No hard drive lying on the street or sidewalk. I unlocked the door and went to my office.

THERE IT WAS! My memory had steered me wrong because obviously I had not put it in my totebag. I was remembering the morning's activities, not the afternoon's.

I have left my hard drive at the office before and had to go back and get it, but what made this time much more scary was feeling certain I had lost it outside. I'm remembering something I say a lot, "We walk by faith not by our feelings." I need to take my own advice.

I ended the week on a high note: Friday evening we got together with our bible study compadres and spent 3 hours studying, talking, laughing and praying together. So blessed to have my core group of brothers and sisters in Christ!

And that wraps up my week on the Journey. How did God bless you and yours?

I'm sharing this post at the lovely Susanne's site, Living to Tell the Story, with the Friday's Fave Five group of writers. They all posted yesterday; but I figure a post is good anytime.

    April Reflection Journal

It is the first week of May. We are in the middle of Spring already. How quickly the time flies by! Before we get into the hot lazy days of Summer, it is good to stop and reflect on the blessings present in my every day life.

Share something that made you smile

Spring time in the midwest means it is practice time for team sports. This year, the twins will not be playing T-ball; Brody will be playing basefall, and Baylee, softball. They are on different teams and have different practice days.

Of course, practices fall on Family Dinner Nights. So, on Tuesdays, Daniel and Brody come for dinner while Janae and Baylee go to practice. On Thursdays, they switch.

I have to smile about all this because the twins are loving having all of MiMi and PaPa's attention to themselves. It is such a joy to watch their faces light up as they have uninterrupted time to tell their stories at the dinner table.

Everyone needs to be the star of the show once in awhile.

Share something that made you think

I'm part of a group text messaging thread. I love being part of this group because we share nuggets of scripture that challenge and uplift us. Anytime one of us runs across anything, we share it day or night. The rest of us read it when we can.

    I love it!

Share a win from this week

Jim is doing so well with his recovery from his knee surgery. He is now able to drive himself to therapy. It literally gives me more hours in my week. Win-win!

    Share a great quote

I am recently loving the app, Lectio 365. You can begin and end your days with prayer, a bible verse and a devtional thought. The topic presently is, "How to Hear God," based on Pete Grieg's book. This is a subject I've been pondering as of late. (You might want to read my post, "I'm on a Mission to Hear God's Voice.")

Here is a great quote from April 29th's offering: "If you pray through the scriptures; you never run out of things to talk about to God."

Also, I adore listening to all these British accents on the app. So calming! It is very helpful to listen at bedtime.

Share a song or a scripture that ministered to you

All God accomplishes is flawless, faithful and fair, and his every word proves trustworthy and true. Psalm 111:7 TPT

I love this! So, one could say:

All He does is flawless, faithful and fair

All He says is trustworthy and true

There is no need to fear, I can trust what He says. He is not out to trip me up or play tricks. There is no darkness in Him, only light.

One of the things I love about April are the first signs of Spring - crocuses! I have a friend who shares from her garden every year. She keeps my office bright and cheery for about three weeks. Then I must say good-bye to crocuses until next Spring.

Because I've shared 5 (actually 6) blessings, I'm linking this post to community at Friday's Fave Five where each week the writers share 5 highlights, or blessings, that have come their way.  You are welcome to join in with a post of your own, or you may leave words of thankfulness in the comments.

I just want you to know how highly I value those of you who visit my little piece of the cyberspace to read my words. I believe my calling is to encourage others with words of hope and blessing. Thank you especially to those who respond with comments. You make it worthwhile!

    Jerralea's Update

It's been a minute since I did a thankfulness post; but I'm thinking writing one is the best possible use of my time.

Easter weekend was a great time with family. Rory got to spend the night at MiMi and Papa's and she visited church with Brody and Baylee. We all had dinner together except Daniel who had to work; but later in the evening he joined us as we gathered again to eat leftovers and play games.

I love game night with the family!

Our family (except Daniel, who was working)

    Our gorgeous daughters

    Our adorable grands!

A slow recovery: I have not shared on the Journey in the last month, but my last post mentioned Jim going through knee replacement surgery. (You can read about it here, Spring and Making the Most of My Time.)

Since that writing, Jim fell and injured the knee and Doc had to do some of his work over again. Yikes!

I am thankful this time his recovery seems to be going better than last time (due to that modern marvel, the Continuous Passive Motion machine!). He's had to take far less of his pain pills and is making great strides in his therapy. So grateful!

What's saving my life right now is pick-up orders at Wal-Mart. It is saving me a couple hours a week of shopping and I am loving it. So. Much. (Of course, shopping never was one of my favorite things to do.) You do have to think ahead in order to get the most convenient time slot, but it's a good idea to think ahead about what you are buying for the next week's meals anyway.

Another thing saving my life is an odd-looking contraption that helps us get Jim's compression socks on. Getting those socks on daily was a chore I did not relish. It was definitely and upper body workout for me; but with this device, the socks go on as smooth as silk. (It did take a little bit of learning the best way to use it.) I'm happy to report he only has to wear the socks about another week.

My wireless headset is another thing for which I am thankful. I love on busy Saturday mornings, I can still listen to my favorite podcasts while doing things around the house. It was also very useful for Jim to use his while strapped into his CPM machine. He is more of a music person that a podcast listener; but it definitely helped him pass the time away.

I hope reading this helped YOU think of some things that brighten your life and made you thankful.

I'm linking this post with the community at Friday's Fave Five hosted by the lovely Susanne. You are invited to participate as well by sharing your 5 blessings for the week. If you don't have a blog, feel free to list your five in the comments below.

I'm also linking at Inspire Me Monday

    ~~

As my readers may have noticed, I've been mainly writing at Jerralea.com the last few months. However, Jerralea's Journey is such a part of my life, I've decided to keep both blogs active for the forseeable future. The Journey will be dedicated to family news and posts on reflection. Jerralea.com will focus more on lessons learned through bible study. I'll put links to both blogs in the hopes you will want to see all that God has been speaking to my heart.

Check out my latest post, Purging Progress and Pressing On

As always, I adore each and every one of you and I feel so blessed when you take the time to share and/or comment.
