Praise Post #21 - 2020

October 2014

Today is a dreary day in my corner of the world. I thought a post of praise for creature comforts might be in store.

For instance, I'm thankful for a roof over my head.

I'm thankful for a stocked refrigerator and pantry.

I'm thankful for utilities which keep my house the right temperature and provide running water.

I'm thankful for candlelight and warm afghans to make the evenings cozy.

I'm thankful for clothes, shoe and socks to keep me covered.

BONUS: I'm thankful for books to read for entertainment, and the bible to read for instruction and comfort.

For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope. Romans 15:4 NKJV

Really, what else do I need?

Are you thankful today? Please share!

Today is day 21 of November and I have determined I will give Him praise for 5 blessings each day of the month. 5 blessings a day X 30 days = 150 praises. 105 praises to date!

You might think coming up with 150 blessings in the month of November is a tall order, but I guarantee you can come up with that many.

Remember, whether big or small, praise Him for them all.

I'd be thrilled if you would like to share in the comments your 5 praises, or a link to your post giving God praise.
He is worthy!

  1. I'm thankful for all of these things as well. Plus today I am especially thankful for the option of online church (dealing with a sore throat!) and warm bagels bought by hubby and hot soothing coffee with maple syrup; for cozy socks on our chilly bamboo floors; for soft couch pillows. Happy Sunday and have a blessed Thanksgiving if I don't make it back here this week!
