Because He Came ... I Have A Precious Stone

Because He Came ... I have a Cornerstone upon which to build my life.

Matthew 21:42 (NKJV)

Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures:
‘The stone which the builders rejected
Has become the chief cornerstone.
This was the Lord’s doing,
And it is marvelous in our eyes’?

1 Peter 2:6-8 (NKJV)

Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture,
“Behold, I lay in Zion
A chief cornerstone, elect, precious,
And he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame.”
Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious; but to those who are disobedient,
“The stone which the builders rejected
Has become the chief cornerstone,”
“A stone of stumbling
And a rock of offense.”
They stumble, being disobedient to the word, to which they also were appointed.

So ... is He precious or offensive to you?  There's no sitting on the fence.  It's one or the other.

If He is precious to you ... what are you doing about it?

I just read about Him being a "Precious Stone" in another article today!
I really like that when God is trying to drive something home in my heart He shows it to me more than once in close proximity.
I need to share this Precious Stone more, and also understand that He is all I need ~ no amount of riches could ever fill that place in my heart.
Merry Christmas Jerralea!
