Friday's Fave 5 - February 20, 2009

I love Fridays! I also love to look back on my week and reflect on what has happened. If you'd like to do the same, visit Susanne's Living to Tell the Story and join in with Friday's Fave 5.

Keepin' it positive, I now share with you my 5 favorite things that happened this week.

1. Flowers for Valentines Day! My hubby remembered that I like yellow and pink roses. I love this arrangement!

2. Dinner out! On Valentine's Day, our church had a banquet at a barbecue place. I got the pork plate which was delicious, but way too much food.

3. M&M's! I've been munching on a bag of Valentine colored M&M's. I am making the bag last all week long ...

4. Favorite Song! I have many favorites, but we sang an old one from the hymnal this week: "CHANGED IN THE TWINKLING OF AN EYE." An oldie but a goodie. My desire is to be ready at any moment to be changed.

5. New quote! I love to collect quotes and found this great one this week:

"End of construction. Thank you for your patience."
Inscription on Ruth Bell Graham’s gravestone

  1. WE had a VDay banquet at our church as well. Reading about your chocolate is making me want to go and get some myself!

  3. Making a bag of m&m's last a week? Here they're lucky to last a day. :-)

    Those flowers are beautiful.

I think I've heard of that Ruth Bell Graham quote before, but it still always gets me. Powerful.

And can I just say ... M and Ms!!! Yes. My VERY favorite candy of all time. Plain, not peanut thank you.

Enjoy your special fun chocolate treat. Mine would never last all week. Maybe all day.

    Have a great weekend.

  9. Oh that is a great inscription!! I'm going backwards here. We had a study on Christ's appearing this morning and one of the themes was to be ready! That half price bag of m&ms we picked up didn't last the week at my house let me tell ya! What a great idea for your church to do a Valentine meal together. That's one good hubby to remember the right colors :0)
    Blessings.

Your valentines bouquet is beautiful! So neat that he knew which colors would make you happy! Now off to scrounge in the cupboards to see if I can find some M&M's. :v)
