The Simple Woman's Daybook - February 23, 2009

FOR TODAY, MONDAY, FEBRUARY 23rd EDITION ...

Outside my window...

marvelous sunshine! And it's 29 degrees ...

I am thinking...

of all I want to accomplish this week.

I am thankful for...

my family who loves me.

From the kitchen...

I'm thinking of making homemade chicken noodle soup tonight.

I am wearing...

gray pants, geometric tunic with black, gray, and aqua squares, black duster.

I am creating...

a to-do list.

I am going...

to Wally World after work.

I am reading...

Terri Blackstock's new book, I think the title is "Double Blind."

I am hoping...

to be a blessing to my world!

I am hearing...

the tick-tock of the clock.

Around the house...

some laundry and some dusting needs to be done. (This is my weekly answer!)

One of my favorite things...

chocolate chip cookies!

A few plans for the rest of the week:

some get well cards to be sent, flowers ordered for a friend, and dreaded taxes to be done.

Here is picture thought I am sharing...

Picture from recent ice storm

If you'd like to join others as we reflect upon our plans for the upcoming week, join Peggy at The Simple Woman's Daybook.

"some laundry and some dusting needs to be done. (This is my weekly answer!)" I had to laugh at this. I usually ignore the dusting, but laundry is always on my list, too!!!

Thank you for stopping by to say hello! Love your daybook. Yes, I do LOVE Lucy Maud Montgomery. She is one of my favourite authors! :) Have a beautiful and blessed day!

Like Rina, I had to giggle at your weekly answer! Dusting is my least favorite thing to do. I think it is because I usually leave that for the last and by the time I get to it...I'm ready to be done with the whole house cleaning business! :O)

I left you a comment on my blog - not sure if they forward that on to you are not. I'm still learning blogger and how it works. Thank you for stopping by and I look forward to getting to know you here.

Wally World, a place from one of my favorite movies or do you mean WalMart? The picture of the ice is great. Our last ice storm was awful. Looks like tornado damage for a hundred miles of trees on scenic highway 7 here in AR. I enjoyed your blog and will return to read more. Thanks for sharing. Doylene
