Helper # 28

Today, I'm departing from Crystal's An Invitation to 30 Days of Thanks-Living list since Psalm 28:7 was covered thoroughly in Day 15. Instead, I want to share another scripture where we are told the Lord is our helper:

Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said,“I will never fail you.    I will never abandon you.”
So we can say with confidence,“The Lord is my helper,    so I will have no fear.    What can mere people do to me?”Hebrews 13:5-6 NLT

When you think about the fact our God is all-knowing, all-powerful, always present and the God of more than enough, it's mind-blowing.

He says He will never abandon us and I'm in awe.

Then I realize scripture tells me the Creator of the Universe is my Helper and I am speechless.

The. Creator. Of. The. Universe.

So, why should I fear?

Another reason to be grateful ...
