The Best Part of My Day ...

I love being productive. As a full-time ministry assistant, work-from-home ministry assistant, board member, worship leader and Sunday School teacher, blogger and aspiring writer, my plate can be full but it is such a rewarding and fulfilling life. I love it.

However, the best part of my day is when I pull into the carport and think, "Thank God, I'm home."

Home is the best place to be, and I'm so thankful to have one. I'm so thankful to have a husband waiting there for me. (He's the best!)

My home is humble, but it is ours (and we own it debt-free!). It holds things that are meaningful to me: furnishings and art personally picked by me, books and pictures - lots of them.

And on the days my adult kids and my grandbabies come to visit, my cup of blessings overflows!

Home is where you can be you. They love you just the way you are - even on days you don't put on makeup. You can hang out in your comfy clothes and relax. You can snuggle up on your couch drinking hot chocolate and watching Fixer Upper and binge watch Netflix.

Yes, the best part of my day is coming home!

  4. Hi Jerralea! There's no place like home! (And looks like your husband agrees. What a sweet comment!)
You are a busy lady! No wonder your house is a refuge for you, a place of rest and refreshment...just as it should be. My house isn't all that special to anyone else, but it is to me! It's a place of great comfort. I love to sit in the evening and listen to music while I read or try to write. (Accent on the 'try'!)

Have a wonderful weekend, enjoying a little Netflix binge!
    Blessings,
    Ceil
