F.F.F. - 09.25.15

Hello, lovelies! I thought I would pop in and do a quick Friday's Fave Five even though my stay-cation is winding down to the end.

1. I had a lovely week during one of the best weeks, weather-wise, there have been in a long time. In fact, I'm sitting in my home office right now with the window open and the breezes blowing. The sun has shone every day. It's been heavenly.

2. My week started out with a visit from my sister and brother-in-law. They popped in on their way to Montana. I always love seeing them and just wish they'd stay longer.

3. I hung around the house and enjoyed doing some things I never have time to do. Did I do everything on my list. No. Oh well, maybe someday.

4. Yesterday, the hubs and I took the whole day and visited two of our favorite spots. We hiked around one lake and then spent the rest of the day taking pictures, reading and visiting. It was so peaceful!

5. Quote of the week:  "Worldliness is whatever makes sin look normal and righteousness look strange." - Kevin DeYoung

One of the best definitions of worldliness I've ever heard.

And so ends another week on the Journey. How did YOUR week go? I'd love to hear! Leave a comment or consider linking your own Friday's Fave Five post at Susanne's space, Living to Tell the Story.

Oh, I love that quote by Kevin DeYoung. Thank you for sharing! That lake is just beautiful- what an amazing place to hike. And I'm glad you got to enjoy a stay-cation and work on things you normally wouldn't. Such a wonderful opportunity!

So glad you had such a nice day. It's better you didn't check everything off your list, that way you have something for tomorrow. I love your hike! How relaxing to hike then read a little and just commune. Anyhoo friend, have a great weekend and enjoy that weather.

I just posted your quote on my fb page. THANKS for sharing.

How fun to have a stay-cation. I look forward to seeing what all you accomplished from your Tuesday To-Do list. I LOVE the burlap wreath video you posted; I updated my Fall Bucket List.

I am going to do the 31 Days of writing challenge, too. Mine will be about finding laughter. I am toooooo serious.

I hope the weekend is a perfect ending to your stay-cation.
