For Today... Monday, August 10
Outside my window... wet pavement and dripping leaves. It's cooler today and it is supposed to rain again this evening.
I am thinking... it's 51 days until fall. :)
I am thankful... for the change of the seasons. It's a sure thing, as constant as day and night, just the way God designed it.
I am wearing... a teal color blocked zebra tunic and black capris.
I am wondering... where all my blogging peeps went ... seems everyone is taking a blogging break ...
I am reading... Michelle DeRusha's "50 Women Every Christian Should Know." I am so thankful I was born in today's world, even with all its challenges.
In my garden... or front porch where I keep what few plants I have, looks like this today:
I'm still loving my $2 yard sale bench. I decided it would make a cute flower pot holder.
In my kitchen (and the board room) ... bbq chicken and salad tonight. I'm thinking of trying a breakfast pizza sometime this week ... perhaps this one?

A favorite quote for today...
Instead, Jesus, knowing there was a storm on the horizon, said to His disciples, “Let us go over to the other side.” He had EVERY intention of going through the storm with His disciples and He had EVERY intention of making it safely to the other side.… Jennifer Jernigan, The Other Side, Internet Café Devotions, 08/07/15
I think I can trust Him to get me to the other side of my conflict, too ...
One of my favorite things... an upcoming staycation, and the anticipation of what project will I tackle?
