Today, I'm continuing with praises for the little things that make life enjoyable - I call them creature comforts.
- My favorite jeans that make me feel good and I think looks good on me
- Air conditioning in warm weather: I've often said I hope God gave a special blessing to the person who perfected air conditioning because it sure made my life more comfortable.
- Water that comes out of the tap anytime I want it. If you don't think that is a special blessing, just go without it!
- I am a lover of light. I adore lamps. I want there to always be lights on unless I'm asleep; therefore, I thank God for electricity.
- I'm also a lover of technology. It keeps me connected to the world, but more importantly, to my loved ones.

These are the "simple" things we take for granted until we don't have them any more! I know when we lose our electricity, then we appreciate it/technology so much more! So grateful God gave people the ability to invent what they invented to make our lives a bit more comfortable.

Yay for favorite jeans. I got a pair tailored last year (first ever) and those became my favorite immediately because they FIT. ha. Who knew jeans could be so comfortable?
ReplyDeleteI'm a light person too. It can't ever be too bright for me (except when I'm trying to sleep; then I want total darkness).
And technology. Amen. :) So very grateful for all the ways it allows us to touch each other. I'm always encouraged when I visit you through technology, Jerralea!
I have a new favorite pair of jeans now too. It's not often that happens. I love lamps. I have three in our living room and with the time change they glow so nice and peacefully...

I actually like all the things on your list and don't ever want to take electricity or technology for granted. we are very blessed in this country!! Oh..i have a question. I'm with you and the air conditioning! What would I do without it here in Florida? I also have a favorite pair of jeans and love when winter comes so I can wear them. I love soft lamp light in the evening as well as candle light. Hugs
