F.F.F. - 10.17.14

Once again, I'm in a time crunch, so I'm hurriedly sharing on my lunch hour my five favorites from the week.  We'll have a good long chat next week - I promise!

First this:

1.  A fiery sunset across from my house this week.  I love when I catch the Master Artist at work!

2.  I've been busily writing posts for my 31 Days of Life on the Journey.  A lot of my posts have me dredging the memories from the back of my mind.  I'm so blessed that most are positive happy memories.  I love looking back ...

3.  Chicken Lazone:  Yum yum is all I have to say.  See it here on Pinterest. Consider being my Pinterest buddy and follow?

4. Good texting session with daughter in CO.  Always a joy to connect with my sweeties.

5.  Something to think about:  another gem of a quote from Bro. Chapman:

"God is looking for somebody to hang out with."

Let it be me!

That's it for this week's recap of the Journey.  How did your week go?  Leave a comment, or consider sharing over at Susanne's blog, Living to Tell the Story.

  1. What a beautiful sunset!

It took me a while to get into texting, but now I love that way of keeping in touch with loved ones.

  4. I love simple recipes like that :-) Glad you could stop and jot down five of your faves despite the busy schedule. And that sunset! Wow.

  5. Oh my, that sunset is breathtaking! Such an artist God is. I'm always thankful for txting and being able to stay connected with my kids on a daily basis just to say hello. Yum, I'll be trying that recipe!

  6. I love that quote! I like your “journey” posts....leaves something to think about!

I love anything with chicken (except lemon chicken) and never heard of Lazone before. I have been hesitant to try Pinterest as I don't want to get addicted!
