Daybook: 02.17.14

FOR TODAY, MONDAY, FEBRUARY 17

Outside my window...another dreary wintry day; however, it is predicted this week may get up into the 60s ... along with rain.  Spring is laying low, readying itself to burst upon the scene.
I am thinking...it's been awhile since I've been on a road trip!
I am thankful... for my 100th blog-follower, Kyleigh at Becoming Blameless!  Welcome, Kyleigh and thank you for becoming one of my readers.  Kyleigh has just started her blog.  Let's all drop by and say hi.
Praising God ... for a wonderful husband and family, a home that is a haven, and satisfying work.  I am so blessed!
I am praying for... my nephew, Alex, for success in his new job, for my new young mom friend to land a job that works for her, and for a family going through a hard time right now.
In the kitchen... I'm making a big batch of my homemade hamburger helper - enough for lunches for the week.
I am wearing... my hot pink blazer, black and white ruffled top and black jeans and boots.
I am creating... a centerpiece that will be easy to customize for holidays.  See my picture below for Valentine's
I am reading... Beth Moore's "The Beloved Disciple."
I am looking forward to...Baylee and Brody's birth.  I'm so wanting to love on them!
I am pondering... my motivation for what I do.  I want to do only those things that keep me in the center of His will.
A favorite quote for today...  "It is not what a man does that determines whether his work is sacred or secular, it is why he does it.  The motive is everything."  Tozer
One of my favorite things... organizational blogs
A few plans for the rest of the week: watching Olympics and studying 1 Peter to continue a bible study,
A peek into my day...
