Daybook: 12.16.13

This post was written on the 16th but not posted until the 17th ... better late than never.

FOR TODAY, MONDAY, DECEMBER 16TH

Outside my window...
snowy fields and winter skies.

I am thinking...
there is too much to do.

I am thankful...
to find out I can keep my health insurance policy after all, even if it is gong to cost me 20% more.  Much better than 250% more for a new policy that did not give as good coverage as my first policy.

In the kitchen...
takeout tonight because I have multiple appointments this evening.

I am wearing...
I was determined not to wear black pants, today.  (Hi, Mia!) But ... I forgot and wore them anyway!  I'm also wearing my geometric teal, black and orange print top with a teal cardigan so at least half of me is colorful ...

I am creating...
a home office.

I am reading...
"Wounded by God's People," by Anne Graham Lotz.  Unfortunately, sometimes Christians hurt others ....

I am looking forward to...
going to the eye doctor this afternoon.  I'm getting new frames after eight years.  Yes, it's about time.

Around the house...
my new curtains for the office have come in.  I love them! Now, I'm awaiting  the rug.

A favorite quote for today...

"If you really hear from God, you can do the impossible." Missionary Carrol Deal
Of course, you have to be obedient and act on what you hear!

One of my favorite things... pizza

A few plans for the rest of the week:
getting ready for a board meeting, wrapping gifts, decorating.

A peek into my day...

A snowy sunset view from my front yard last week.

Oh, the favorite black pants! I am so thankful that you can keep your health insurance. That is very important.

  2. I haven't got dressed yet, lol. I'll probably put on jeans the comfy ones. And I love pizza but had to give up on it two years ago. Merry Christmas

  3. I guess I am glad to know that I am not the only one running a little behind... I am just getting around to visiting my friends this week!
Our weather here is on the up turn. 52 today!
This entire insurance thing is a mess. We still have insurance but have not heard if or what changes we may have to ours. {{ughhhh}} the unknown always bothers me but I try not to dwell on it because I know HE has my future! :)
I wish I had a pair of frames that I liked enough to wear for eight years! Mine are only 6 months old and they bother me so much! I can't get new ones for 18 more months! (insurance thing).
You always sound very colorful to me! I am browns (earth tones) person so I am not adventurous enough to try bold colors!
Don't know what next week hold posting wise so I will wish you a VERY Merry Christmas! God bless!
