Daybook-11.04.13

FOR TODAY, MONDAY, NOVEMBER 4TH

Outside my window...
overcast fall day,  about 51°

I am thinking... I'm excited for two answers to prayer this week.  I'm expecting more answers.

I am thankful...to have a job and that I'm healthy enough to get up and go do it.

In the kitchen... chicken and dumplings tonight.  I'm soooo glad I have both chicken and the dumplings in the freezer ready to go.

I am wearing... black slacks, black and purple animal print twinset.

I am creating
... blog-posts ... if I'm not writing them, I'm thinking about my next one.

I am reading... I finished the Lisa Samson book I mentioned last week, "Resurrection in May." Awesome!  It didn't end like I thought it would.  Very thought-provoking - you should check it out!

I am looking forward to... seeing what God will do in our upcoming revival meetings.

I am learning... I just need more Jesus in my life.

 A favorite quote for today...

" ... Your problem is God's opportunity... "
… David Jeremiah, 01/07/13 Turning Point Devotional

One of my favorite things... seeing the leaves change and all the fall beauty around me.

A few plans for the rest of the week: taking it easy this week because next week our church will be having revival meetings and the pace of the week will be hectic.

A peek into my day...

Just some of the beauty I saw this weekend

The daybook is a concept created by Peggy Hostetler.  You can link up at her blog, The Simple Woman's Daybook.

  1. Hi Jerralea
That photo of the beautiful trees is enough to make me humble before our Pappa who holds all this in perfect working order! It makes me stand in awe of a Him as Creator of such beauty.
    Blessings xx
