Outside my window...41°, cloudy and windy
I am thinking... of my next blog post. I'm going to title it: Black Ice
I am thankful... for everything that has occurred in my life. I know God allowed it for a reason.
In the kitchen... spaghetti and garlic bread
I am wearing...gray pants, gray sweater, purple tank
I am creating... a life that is an offering to Jesus
I am going...to Branson, MO, in 54 days. Not that I'm excited and counting the days or anything ...
I am reading... nothing because I just finished "The Hour That Changes The World," by Dick Eastman. I think every child of God should read it.
I am looking forward to... daylight savings time. I love an extra hour of sunlight!
Around the house... still need to do some dusting ... over at Candice Cameron Bure's RooMag, I saw a mommalogues poll she was doing that asked the question "If you could have a nanny, a housekeeper or a cook, which would you choose." Um, housekeeper. Yes, please! It's not that I mind cleaning house, but there are just so many better things to do!
A favorite quote for today...
The drive to be better than everyone
else is ego. But using their example to become the best YOU can be is wise
stewardship.
… seen on twitter
Two thoughts come to mind when I read this quote: 1) Don't compete with anyone but yourself ... 2) Let me be a wise steward!
One of my favorite things... the feeling of accomplishment when I have written something I love.
A few plans for the rest of the week: studying, praying, enjoying each day
A peek into my day...
This little area is what I look at every day when at the office. I'm thinking I need something hanging above the chair for visual focus ...
The Daybook is a concept created by Peggy Hostetler. You can link up at her blog, The Simple Woman's Daybook.
I'm looking forward to daylight savings, too. So ready for Spring! I like the 5 minute writing exercise in your last post. I'll have to check that out sometime.
ReplyDeleteI love how you finished the "I am thankful" entry...that is the secret for a joyful life....
