TGIF! It's time to pause and count the blessings of this past week.
1. Favorite Post to write: This week's favorite was my Daybook post. You can read it here. I like to do Daybooks to start the week, because it can help you be intentional about planning your week, and Friday's Fave Five to end the week to recap how you did. I've done 82 daybooks since I started blogging ....
2. Favorite Meal: Taco Cupcakes! I actually adapted this recipe from Shannon who blogs at Rocks In My Dryer, except she named hers Barbecue Cupcakes. Basically, it is taco meat inside a biscuit crust. Let me know if there is any interest and I will post my version of the recipe. I might even take a photo!
3. Favorite Photo: Here is a tablescape featuring my yellow Valentine roses and my $5 China I scored while yard-saling this year.
This was the table set for Sunday dinner. We had pot roast.
Bonus photo: Red tulips to remind myself that Spring always comes!
4. Quote of the week:
Procrastination is not only the thief of time, it is also the grave of opportunity.

Procrastination is definitely an area wherein I need help!
5. Favorite Blog to Visit This Week: I decided to change this prompt a little because maybe every week I haven't found a new blog to visit, but there are always favorite ones I visit frequently. This week, I'd like to mention Ruth at Celebrate Friendship. I visit her weekly to participate in her Tea Talk blog party. Ruth is a gentle soul whose passion is to make a difference to the poor in Thailand. Visit her and see some of the folks in her mission field.
At first I was thrown for a loop over those taco cupcakes! =D But I do believe I've made them before myself and we all loved them. I'd totally forgotten about them. Yum!
ReplyDeleteLove that quote re: procrastination.
Happy FFF to you!
Oh, yes! Give us the recipe. I didn't even finish reading your post before I scrambled down here to add my vote!
ReplyDeleteOk. Now I will finish reading.
Love your quote. I am going to steal it as I have some more "grave" photos to post. Your quote would make a fitting caption.
I will have to look into doing Daybooks as I like the idea of starting my week with intention.
Of course, we want your version of taco cupcakes! Sounds like a fun meal :) I've seen people write daybook posts and your reason sounds like a great one to participate. Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteOh nellie, I definitely need help with procrastination. It is an area that need to work on continually.
ReplyDeleteYour table looks so fresh and springlike with the yellows and blues. Bet the meal tasted better!
Sometimes I feel like I'm the queen of procrastination--that quote is a great reminder.
ReplyDeleteI hope you've had a great weekend.
