Christ Lives In You

 

Colossians 1:26-27 New Living Translation 
26 This message was kept secret for centuries and generations past, but now it has been revealed to God’s people. 27 For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory.

Father,

Thank you I heard this today. I’m so thankful the riches and glory of Christ is for us, too. And I love knowing the secret thing: Christ lives in us. I can hardly comprehend it; and frankly, today it doesn’t feel like it at all. But because You said it, I know beyond a shadow of a doubt it is true.

Therefore, I thank You for Your Empowering and Energizing Spirit today. I lean on You to help me live out my calling even when I want to curl up and hide from the day.

Please bless my friends today in everything they do. Build a hedge of protection around them and cover them with Your Love.

In Jesus’ name, so be it, amen.
