Today’s letter in the His AmaZing Love from A-Z series
is the letter “X.”
Now, I don’t know about you, but it’s difficult to
think of many biblical words dealing with love that begin with “X.”
In fact, none has come to mind.
However, I’ve thought of one that sounds like it
begins with “X,” the word exceedingly.
EXceedingly is a great word! Synonyms are eXceptionally,
remarkably, eXtremely, eXtraordinarily, outstandingly and especially.
His love is definitely all those things.
My favorite of those would be the word eXtremely,
because God doesn’t do anything half-way!
And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus. This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.1 Timothy 1:14-15 NKJV
EXceedingly abundant
grace, faith and love are all available through Christ Jesus.
Who is eligible for these
riches?
Even the worst of sinners
can join in these blessings. It’s up to each of us to believe and accept. No
one is eXcluded from accepting.
AmaZing!

I like that no one is excluded from receiving the gift of salvation of Jesus. We merely have to ask for it and believe in Him.
