Bursting with Thanksgiving #15

The Lord is my strength and shield.

I trust him with all my heart.
He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy.
I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.

Psalm 28:7 (NLT)

We are on day 15 of Thanks-Living.

Today's offering is from Psalm 28:7 and I love the way the New Living Translation puts praising Him in song - bursting out in songs of thanksgiving.

Because God is our strength, spontaneous thankfulness should happen.

Because He is our shield, our protector, gratefulness wells up in our hearts until we just can't contain it.

Friend, if you are going through life in such a way the people you do life with think of you as an "old curmudgeon," you need to take inventory!

A child of God should be joy-filled. After all, the Maker of the Universe cares enough to be involved in your life!

How more awesome could life get?

As my friend, Dayna, says, "Time to get your praise on!"
