Standing on the Heights



For who is God except the Lord?
    Who but our God is a solid rock?
God arms me with strength,
    and he makes my way perfect.
He makes me as surefooted as a deer,
    enabling me to stand on mountain heights.
He trains my hands for battle;
    he strengthens my arm to draw a bronze bow.
Psalm 18:31-34 NLT




Today begins another week on our journey. Who knows what this mid-May week holds in store? Whatever comes our way, we can stand tall knowing He will enable us with whatever we need.

    That verse always reminds me of the book Hinds Feet on High Places.

    So true that he will be there for us, no matter what we face in this week ahead. Our pastor has been doing a series of the characteristics of God. This week's was faithful. How God is faithful, how he cannot not be faithful. It really struck a chord with me. We may not be faithful in our walk, but he is always faithful!
