What to Do - Step 5

Today, I'm going to talk about a step in the process of "What to Do When You Don't Know What to Do," that is especially close to my heart.

And, it is short and sweet!

Step 5 -    Get Your Marching Orders (read the field manual)
One of the main ways God speaks to us is through His Word. When you are in a situation where you have no clue what to do, bury your nose in the Book! He promises to guide us and His Word is an important part of the way He does that.

Psalm 119:105 King James Version (KJV)
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

God’s word illumines our path!

Psalm 32:8 King James Version (KJV)
I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.

How does he instruct? With his Word!

When life hands you a curve ball and you are stuck, stop and take out the Word and start reading. You will find encouragement for your soul. He will speak to you and give your guidance. It's a promise you can stand on.

  3. It occurs to me that we could trip on every previous step, and then get set straight on this one! It's like you to include this important component to the following life!

  4. I'm blogging about God's guidance so this post resonates. God does speak through His word. I'm so grateful that He communicates with us in a variety of ways. (Many of which I probably miss...)
