You Inspire Me

I feel so blessed to be part of a generation that has endless resources to be uplift and encourage. When I think about those who inspire me with their music, their art or their words ... why the list is too long!

Our Father's creativity in the people He made is truly amazing. So much talent in the world! If you have the ability to read this post, then you are one of the blessed people who have access to unlimited inspiration.

Today, I thought I would share with you some of who inspire me. Why keep a good thing to yourself?

Music inspires me; especially praise music and instrumental music. Pandora is a gift and I love listening. When I need to get my praise on, I love listening to Chris Tomlin, Kari Jobe, Selah, MercyMe and Lauren Daigle. If I need calming, I love hearing David Nevue playing the piano or Terry Macalmon leading worship.

In the world of books, I'm always inspired by Beth Moore and Max Lucado. I am encouraged every time I read their work.

The main thing I'd like to share with you today, though, is the bloggers I read. I love the blog world and there are so many talented people who share with us on a daily or weekly basis for FREE! Time would not permit me to link up to every blog that has blessed me over the years; but today, I thought I would share some in a few categories that are helpful to me.

Organizing:  I'm a big believer in being organized. When life is chaos, at least our environment can be controlled. Some of my favorite organizers are Jenn at IHeartOrganizing and Becky Barnfather at Organizing Made Fun.

Home Decor:  The Nester at the Nesting Place always inspires; and, can I just say that whenever the Home Decor bloggers get together and have home tours, I'm right there! I love seeing how people put a room together and getting ideas. If I had time for another career, I would love to be a home stager.

Cooking:  Christy Jordan at SouthernPlate.com.  I find inspiration both about cooking and family life at her blog almost daily.

Fashion:  I love Cindi Spivey at Grace & Beauty. She talks sensible fashion, but also deals with matters of the heart.

And this last category is where I spend most of my time - I call them faith bloggers. Some of them may write about faith in addition to other topics but faith is what comes shining through in every post. They inspire me because they share truths from their own walk with Christ and it is so encouraging!

Time and space will not permit me to rave about each one, so I will share links and let your discover them at your own leisure. Trust me, you will love them!

Last, but not least, I find inspiration every week at The Loft. Seriously, all these bloggers are awesome and always give me something new to think about. My personal favorites? Michele Morin at Living our Days always has spiritual food to feed on. Christine Malkemes at A Yielded Heart writes such poetic beauty - I can feast on it for days, and our fearless leader, Leah Adams, always has a word to stretch and encourage. You can find links to all their wonderful posts plus view other interesting bloggers' works this week at The Loft.

  3. Hi Jerralea! I'm listening to Pandora right now. I LOVE that station. I dial in James Taylor and just get to typing.
It's wonderful to have so many blog friends from so many different genres that inspire. That's what makes blogging so much fun!
    Blessings,
