Weekly Wrap-Up and F.F.F.

Welcome! It's time to reflect on the Journey for this week, and I love to kick it off by recalling 5 highlights or blessings that I experienced in the last seven days.

Easy-peasey.

Here you go. 5 beautiful pictures of the love and care that God created just to give us beauty! You're welcome.

Of course, there were other good things in my week.

For instance, we've been babysitting a few evenings a week while our daughter works. She drops the twins off with PaPa before I get home from work. When I pull into the carport, I am met by two grinning faces in the window squealing "MiMi!" What better blessing is there?

I also had a wonderful Sunday. My SS class lesson went very well - had lots of participation; and then, we had an up-lifting worship service with visitors attending - who came back for the evening service. That's always a blessing.

Mid-week service was my turn to bring the lesson. Sometimes, the lesson just flows and you feel the Lord blessing it; other time, it's just okay. (Never sure what causes that - I know a lack of preparation on my part contributes and other times it might just be the collective mood of the group.) This Wednesday was awesome and it's so encouraging. It gives me added zeal to study and seek God for a word.

So, all in all, a good week on the Journey this week.  We've had beautiful spring-like weather all week that makes me want to plan all kinds of freshening-up tasks for the weekend; however, Saturday and Sunday are forecast to be colder and dreary ... No matter, I'm looking forward to a good weekend with the hubs.

What about you? How did your week go? Do you have big plans for your next days off? I'd love to know! Leave a comment or link up your own post at Susanne's space, Living to Tell the Story.

Whatever you do this weekend, remember to give God the glory. He's a good good Father.

  1. Love your sky pics! I agree with your thoughts about lesson preparation. Sometimes I wait too long in the week to start working on my Sunday school lesson, and it shows. Enjoy your weekend!
