For Today... Monday, January 11th
Outside my window... heavy frost, cold temps (18°) but at least there is some sunshine.
I am thinking... so many things ... do you ever feel you need a "brain dump?" I need to make a list of everything rattling around in there so I can prioritize what to work on first ...
I am thankful... to finally start feeling better.
I am wearing... white jeans, black top, black boots, and black and white chevron sweater.
I am creating... 2016 files
I am reading... "Circle of Quiet," by Madeleine L'Engle
I am hoping... to get a lot accomplished this week.
I am learning... to not be so hard on myself. This is a difficult lesson.
In my kitchen... this week, I will make ribs on Monday, chicken tenderloins on Tuesday, beef stew for Wednesday and for Thursday Soup Night probably Santa Fe Soup. Not sure yet what I will make for the rest of the week ...
A favorite quote for today...
"Faith is the victory that overcomes the world." 1 John 5:4
Walking by faith is NOT easy, but it is so rewarding.
A peek into one of my days... it's been awhile since I shared photos of my grandbabies ...
One of my favorite things... this song keeps reverberating in my brain: "I'm loved by you - that's who I am, that's who I am." My heart swells with gratitude.
