Once again, I am posting this a day late ...
FOR TODAY, MONDAY, MARCH 9TH
Outside my window...dense fog
I am thinking... of stories of answered prayer for Testimonial Tuesday link-up. I'd love to hear yours!
I am thankful... that the Holy Spirit drew me to the Lord all those years ago. I can't imagine life without the Father!
In the kitchen... I'm planning to do a Pinterest-inspired recipe tonight. I'll let you know later how it turned out. (Note: It was pretty good. You can find Creamy Broccoli Chicken Shells and Cheese at my Pinterest board, Yummy Main Dishes.)
I am wearing... White jeans and cognac boots, peach top and mint cardigan. I'm trying to influence everything to be spring-like ...
I am going...to work everyday and then home for dinner with the fam.
I am reading... "Snapshot" by Lis Wiehl. She's one of my favorites.
I am hoping... the vase of Spring (fake) flowers I put out on my desk ushers in Spring.
I am looking forward to...a road trip. I don't care where, I just want to go!
Around the house... I am packing up more things that might be tempting to babies. I am all about keeping them safe.
A favorite quote for today...
I rose in the morning before fear and doubt did.
… Blake Atwood, The Write Practice
Blake thinks it is good to write (or work on your dream) in the morning before your day starts. When do you work on projects near and dear to your heart?
One of my favorite things...mason jars. You can do so much with them.
A few plans for the rest of the week: trying new recipes and playing with the twins. I'm so glad there are no meetings this week.
A peek into my day...
Let's eat! |
The daybook is a concept created by Peggy Hostetler. You can link up at her blog, The Simple Woman's Blog.
You should have included a picture of your outfit, it sounds darling :) I too am doing what I can to usher Spring in quickly. Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteThat recipe sounds delicious! I'll have to try it some time!

I like this!
I hate the fog!
ReplyDeletePenny, it never occurred to me to take a picture of my outfit. What kind of blogger am I?
ReplyDeleteBetty, I did really like the recipe, but next time I think I will use the smaller shell macaroni.
Sandi, that quote really spoke to me. I'm still thinking about it.
Betsy, you and me both!
