I love each and every one of you and please know that your comments mean so much to me.
I missed last week's Friday's Fave Five, because, well, CHRISTMAS. Around here, any holiday means not only the holiday but time for recuperation. I seriously can't tell you what I did the day after Christmas.
I do know this, any time during this past week that I could see the babies, I did. Beyond that, I've done some cooking, some tidying, some catching up on some things in my home office that had been put off. A major chunk of time was devoted to doing my End of Year Review post and my annual Holiday Letter which this year was a New Year's letter instead of a Christmas letter. Maybe I should trim my mailing list down ... nah, that's crazy talk.
All in all it has been a wonderful time off with family. Let me share 5 photos that made me smile:

And so ends 2014 on the Journey. What will next year hold? I have no idea but I do know Who holds my future. Whatever comes my way I know He will be with me. I'm standing on 1 Peter 5:7 that tells me He cares for me. What else do I need?
Again, happy new year to you all. May God be more real to you in the coming year than He ever has been. May your days be filled with peace and love.

The Santa babies are so cute! Glad you had such a wonderful time with your family. I know what you mean about recuperation. I've loved all the family time, but I am seriously thinking about giving myself a day off next week when everyone returns to work.
ReplyDeleteLove your last two paragraphs especially.
Twins?! How did I ever miss their arrival?! Oh, I can't even imagine the joy they added to Christmas (as well as all the other days!).
ReplyDeleteHave a very Happy New Year. May it bring you peace, good health and much happiness.
