Praise Post # 14

Today, I'm continuing to give God praise for people who have made a difference in my life. There are so many it takes more than one day if I am to stick with my 5 praises a day.

I want to honor those friends who have stuck by me all these years, because I am not a good and thoughtful friend like they are.  I want to be more like them.

  1. Toni Werner and Kathy Richter: I've known these girls since we were freshmen in high school. They were the bridesmaids in my wedding. We've went years without seeing each other and then can visit for hours once we are together again. We are not good about writing each other but we still have a connection after all these years.
  2. My sister-in-love Cora: We've been friends for over a quarter of a century now and we've been to hell and back with each other. No one else knows totally what we have gone through. There will always be a bond.
  3. Glenda Prosser:  She is in heaven now but we were co-workers and best of friends for a long time. She was sincerely the nicest person I ever knew.
  4. Glenda Mayberry:  She. Always. Makes. Me. Laugh.  My readers know how much I value laughter!
  5. Robbie Ralls, Raymond Beasley and Gary Roach: They helped us so so much during the 2011 Flood. If it had not been for them, I don't know how we would have ever gotten our house back. They went way beyond what the normal person would have done. They truly modeled Christ to us and we will never forget them.
Now it's your turn. What blessings can you count today? Leave a comment and share, or if you have a blog, consider linking up below. Praise Posts are running through the month of November. We are thanking God for 5 blessings each day to total 150 praises. You don't have to elaborate, just list if you want. Jump in right where you are whether it's Day 14 or Day 29. I'd love for you participate!
