Daybook: 07.21.14

FOR TODAY, MONDAY, JULY 21st

Outside my window... typical summer day.  It's supposed to be in the 90s this week ...

I am thankful... for grace

In the kitchen... barbecued chicken today, hoping to try a new recipe with the leftovers this week, Barbecued Chicken Pockets.  (It's on my Pinterest Recipe Board.)

I am wearing... black capris with a teal, black and white striped tunic.

I am reading... "The Prayer Box" by Lisa Wingate.  I'm liking it so far.

I am looking forward to... Saturday ... plans are in the making to visit a cousin's thrift shop.

I am learning everyday ... I hope there is never a time when I'm not learning something.

Around the house... there is always something needing to be done ...

I am pondering... the beauty and mystery of grace. It seems incredible that God will forgive ANY sin from someone who truly repents.

A favorite quote for today...

Teach us, O Lord, the disciplines of patience, for to wait is often harder than to work. Peter Marshall

So often, God works things out so that we must wait.  Waiting is good for the soul, but hard to do ...

One of my favorite things... new photos of my twinsies. I'm already ready for a new photo album!

A few plans for the rest of the week: working on a bible study for July 30th,

A peek into my day...

I love this latest of the babies - doesn't it look like Brody is telling secrets and Baylee isn't listening?

The daybook is a concept created by Peggy Hostetler.  You can link up at her site, The Simple Woman's Daybook.

The twinsies are dollbabies! Beautiful! Yellow is a becoming color for both of them.

I could just repeat that over and over and last me a lifetime!

The Prayer Box sounds interesting. I think I've heard of it, but never read it.
