Daybook: 06.02.14

FOR TODAY, MONDAY, JUNE 2ND

Outside my window... overcast skies

I am thankful... for grace - I need it so desperately.

In the kitchen... fruit waiting to be made into a trifle

I am wearing... a black, white and pink dress with a pink shrug

I am going... to Colorado Springs in the near future.

I am reading... "Road to Testament" by Eva Marie Everson

I am looking forward to... going to Colorado for the birth of the twins.  It's getting closer!

I am learning the most important thing is to be in God's will.

Around the house... there are always things to be done, but over all, I love it and our house is home to us.

A favorite quote for today... We were discussing in Sunday School the importance of being in the Word of God.  Bro. Chapman said,

"Drench yourself in the Word of God."

His phrase really struck my imagination.  What would we look like if we had God's word dripping off us, oozing from our pores?  Would people then be able to see Jesus in us?

Just a thought ...

One of my favorite things... eating out.  We tried Firehouse Subs yesterday for a little birthday lunch for Liss.  It was awesome - one of my new fave places to go!

A few plans for the rest of the week: getting some things done ahead to be ready to leave for Colorado.  The most important thing has been done - plenty of batteries bought and an extra disk for the digital camera so that it is ready to take at least a 1000 pics of the baby cuteness coming our way.

A peek into my day...

Lazing by the lake ... in southeast MO

  1. That picture is so pretty and so green! We rarely have anything that green here with the desert conditions and our current drought so I always like to see green on other people's blogs. What an exciting time with the twins' approaching birth and getting to go to Colorado Springs, a place I enjoy visiting.

  5. Hi Jerralea! Wow, it's really coming then? I'm sure it feels like just yesterday you heard about the pregnancy. Colorado is just gorgeous. My sister and her family live there.

    Your outfit sounds so pretty!

I wish I was drenched in the word of God. What a great life I would have! I'll have to keep working on that.
    Blessings,
