K is for King

There is a praise song I love to think on and I sing it all the time:

Amazing love, how can it be?
That you, my king. would die for me
Amazing love, I know it's true
Its my joy to honor you
Amazing love how can it be?
That my king would die for me
Amazing love I know it's true
Its my joy to honor you
In all I do
I honor you

It's so unbelievable - all authority in heaven and earth has been given to Him and yet He knows all about each of us.  He even knows the number of hairs on our head.

This is the season in which we honor the sacrifice of Jesus who laid His life for each one willing to accept His incredible gift.  Let us not forget that He died, but even more amazing, He raised Himself by His own power resurrecting Himself to walk in an indestructible immortal body.

If you want to change your ways and live for Him, you can be guaranteed an immortal body also.

Would you like to know more?  Study 1 Corinthians 15 - read it all the way to the end.  You'll be blessed!

I've embedded a youtube video of Chris Tomlin singing Amazing Love; You Are My King.

Enjoy!

  5. I love that song too. A few years back my wife bought me a shadow box for my office that includes some words close to that. Every time I look at it, that song comes to mind. And, it truly is amazing.
