CHOOSE

What makes us different from animals?  The power to choose.

We can choose to look at life in a welcoming positive attitude, or we can go through life expecting the worst, grumbling and complaining.

It's all up to you.  No one can make you happy.  You are in charge of your future. 

Oh, but you say, I had no choice on the things that were done to me.  It's very true we cannot control everything that touches our lives.  However, we CAN choose how we are going to react.

Attitude is everything.

You could say when the alarm goes off, "Good Lord.  It's morning," with a tone of despair.  Or you could say brightly, "Good!  Lord, it's morning!"  Just as punctuation makes a difference to a sentence so does our attitude towards life. 

We tell our young,"Make good choices."  We need to do the same.  Choose living for God.  Choose walking the straight and narrow. Make healthy choices.  Choose to love.  Most of all, choose to see good.  It is there if you look for it.

It's all up to you. You are the captain of your own destiny.  It's your choice.
