Daybook: 01.27.14

FOR TODAY, MONDAY, JANUARY 27th

Outside my window... a cccold windy day, 16° with wind chill making it feel like 1°
Praising God .... for healing for little Braxton, a little church friend,  his brain pseudo-tumor is gone!!!
In prayer for ... my church, and also for a friend of mine who is needing a new job.
I am thankful... that during our recent winter storms our power never went out.
In the kitchen... an old-fashioned meal of wieners and kraut and fried potatoes
I am wearing... my thickest jeans today since it is so cold (they just happen to be black!)  Also, I'm wearing my new blue, black and white print top my daughter bought me, black fur-lined boots and gray cardi.
I am creating... a bullet journal.  You can read about it here
I am going... to an annual business meeting at my church tonight.
I am reading... "Accused" by Janice Cantore.  I just finished "Dark Justice," by Brandilyn Collins.  Gripping!
I am hoping...for a miracle.
I am looking forward to... spring.  I imagine most of America feels the way I do.
Around the house... things look good.  I'm about ready to put the snowmen away and decorate for Valentine's day.
A favorite quote for today..."A little bit of compromise will destroy you."  from a sermon by my pastor, Travis Schroeder.
One of my favorite things... going back to look at something I've organized.  This week, I reorganized my fridge and I love it so much so I open it every once awhile to look at it.
A few plans for the rest of the week: should be a much more relaxed week with few meetings.  I hope to get some organizing accomplished at the office - and maybe even at home!
A peek into my day...
Gorgeous sunset in my town last night!

The daybook is a concept created by Peggy Hostetler.  You can link up at her site, The Simple Woman's Daybook.

  2. Huh, I'm wearing two pair of pants and 3 sweaters. Is this a daily journal you are writing? Just trying to figure it out. Can't wait for Spring, cleaning and organizing and return to some warm weather
