Daybook: 01.20.14

FOR TODAY, MONDAY, JANUARY 20th
Outside my window... a beautiful wintry day, by noon it was 50 degrees.  I'm enjoying it because tomorrow, it will be a different story ... the forecast says 7 degrees with wind.
Praising God .... for the many blessings in my life.  He has been so faithful to help me through thick and thin.
In prayer for .... a lovely young mom I know who is facing many trials right now, but I know she will be victorious as long as she continues to trust Him.
I am thinking... of all the organizing I am going to do once the new floor is put into my work office.  I can't wait!
I am thankful... to have a job I love.
In the kitchen... spaghetti tonight.  Liss is coming over to eat with us.
I am wearing... blue jeans and a lime green top since we have been moving office paraphernalia around.
I am creating... an organized life.  I'm going to try a bullet journal and see if I like it.
I am reading... 1 Peter, and I just finished "Stones for Bread," by Christa Parrish.  I liked it!
I am looking forward to... finding out how our twinsies are doing and their gender. Next doctor appointment:
 Monday, January 27.
I am learning "Revelation Song," by Kari Jobe.  I know.  I'm behind the times.
Around the house... things look good, except the fridge needs cleaning out ... AGAIN!
I am pondering... thoughts from this Sunday's sermons ...Are spiritual gifts used to intimidate, impress or impact? ... When we do what we know we are supposed to do, we will know what to do. (Think that one over!) When you are faithful, focused and full of the Holy Spirit, the Lord can use you...
A favorite quote for today... "If God put you on hold, don't hang up!" my pastor, Travis Schroeder.
One of my favorite things... organizational tools.
A few plans for the rest of the week:  more work on my 1 Peter S.O.A.P. bible study, cleaning the fridge, working on bullet journal.
A peek into my day...
I'm cheering myself up by remember a day at the lake last summer

  1. This morning is a big change from yesterday! What a roller coaster ride this winter has been.
I too like this time of year at work. I get to clean out the old and make everything new! :)
    Great quote!

  2. Hi Jerralea! It's nice to see that so much progress is being made on your office. I remember when you just started it.
I'd love to come over for dinner, I have no idea what to have. It's 5 degrees, and we got a new 2 inches of snow. Lovely!
I am at a new blog space. I'm now at www.ceilryan.com
It was a big move, but I hope to love it!
    Happy Tuesday,
    Ceil
