Daybook - 09.30.13

FOR TODAY, the last September Monday of 2013

Outside my window...
misty fog everywhere, 65°

I am thinking... I can't believe it is the last day of the third quarter of 2013.  Time zooms by so quickly ...
I am thankful...for the wonderful manifestation of the Holy Spirit during the song service last night.  I pray for that to happen in every service because I desperately need it.
In the kitchen... chicken and dumplings tonight.  So thankful that I have both chicken and rolled out dumplings in the freezer.  It's easy to put together when I get home from work.
I am wearing...my favorite rose shirt/jacket over a black cami and black dress pants.
I am creating... 31 days of blogposts for October.  Call me cray-cray.

I am hoping... for cooler temps because I have some new soup recipes I am dying to try.
I am looking forward to... this weekend.  I am going to a Beth Moore Simulcast!
Around the house... a little dusting needs to happen.
I am pondering... my topics for my 31 days of blogging.
A favorite quote for today... who better to quote than scripture?

"No condemnation now hangs over the head of those who are “in” Jesus Christ. For the new spiritual principle of life “in” Christ lifts me out of the old vicious circle of sin and death."
Romans 8:1-2 Phillips Translation
If you have given your life to Christ and repented of your sin and still feel condemned, that feeling is not from God.

One of my favorite things... creativity and inspiration - both mine and other people's, which is why I like Pinterest!
A few plans for the rest of the week: writing, writing, writing.
A peek into my day...

  1. Can't wait to see what the 31 days holds! I will be unable to read or post this weekend thanks to my seclusion vacation. No internet (i don't have and iphone...) and very limited cell phone service. Will catch up when I get home though. Romans 8:1 is one of my favorite.
