Outside my window... it's already 76° at 6 a.m. - it's going to be a scorcher.
I am thinking... about pastor's sermon Sunday morning. The title: One Day Closer. We are one day closer to the second coming of Christ. Are you ready? Do you even think about it?
I am thankful... for Amelia Baptist Church in a little Central Florida community where I became a Christian and got my start in my Christian life. I have many precious memories of that little fellowship!
In the kitchen... spaghetti and garlic bread, and Jim has requested devil's food cake.
I am wearing...khaki capris, brown tank jeweled tank top, teal cardi
I am creating... a testimony (and so are you ...)
I am reading... nothing right now ...
I am looking forward to... my next road trip. I think I'm addicted to going on them ...
Around the house... I'm resting this week because. I. Got. My. Closet. Cleaned. Out.
I am pondering... all the great qualities of my beloved. I'm so thankful to celebrate his birthday today. May there be many more years to spend with him!
A favorite quote for today...
“Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another: "What! You too? I thought I was the only one.” ― C.S. Lewis… seen on twitter
One of my favorite things... sitting under a shade tree at the lake, sipping sweet tea.
A few plans for the rest of the week: There's not much going on this week, so I'm taking things day by day.
A peek into my day...
Here's a couple of my favorite pics of my hubby:

Happy Birthday to Jim! The birthday dinner sounds delicious. I love your comment on 'what I'm creating.' Wow, that puts a lot of things in perspective. Needed to hear that today. Have a good week, Jerralea.
ReplyDeleteDevils food cake!?! :) oh, I am not one to eat a lot of sweets especially since I have changed my eating habits but once in a while I crave a good old devils food cake. :) Way to go on getting tha closet cleaned out! I wish I had mine done. I took a "road trip" out to UT to see my sister at Thanksgiving. I am not too fond of them now... :) What a nice looking coupl!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to your Hubby! Love the pictures.
ReplyDeleteWe've done a couple road trips two weeks in a row. I like them too, but yestersday I think everybody in Alberta had the same idea cause it was bumper to bumper at about 70 mph! A wee bit stressful and not exactly what I'm looking for in a road trip! Yikes.
Well, happy birthday to Jim!
ReplyDeleteI like that sermon title very well! I've been preparing for a survey study of Revelation so I'm often thinking about the second coming. So exciting.
Well done on that closet :-)
And to answer your question about juicing and pain relief... it takes about three days. For a really bad flare up, I juice twice a day. Just trying to avoid pills as looong as possible!
oh, happy bday to your hubby! The birthday cake sounds perfect. :-)
