God's Green Earth

I've stated many times on this blog of my love for road trips.  Besides the fact that a road trip gets me away from home and my ever-bossy to-do-list, road trips also gives me stress relief.  Spending time looking at nature is a a natural stress reliever.

Just look at that water and tell me it doesn't make you feel peaceful!

There is a calmness that comes over you when you are sitting under a tree feeling the breezes blow.

You see the majesty of His creation when you see mountains, hills and bluffs. It does my heart good to know and enjoy nature.  When you realize the care that He put into making this world, it gives you confidence that He knows what He is doing.

You smile at the creatures He has made.

You can see Him everywhere you look on God's green earth!

Romans 1:20

New Living Translation (NLT)
For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.

  3. I've been to Garden of the Gods in Colorado, but I didn't know there was one in Illinois. And a friend once told me that your favorite thing in nature is how you see God. I love the sky because it's always changing but always beautiful. Nice post!
