Day 22 - Be Confident

The child of God is a work in progress.

Our rough edges are being shaved off, our branches are being pruned, we are molded into His image and refined in the Refiner's fire.  Whew!

All those processes are uncomfortable - in fact, sometimes they just plain hurt.

Sometimes we just feel like we will never attain the image of Christ.  We feel like we will never mature.  We're no more closer to getting it right than when we first began.

Don't despair!

Philippians 1:6 (KJV)

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

It's a process.  When you came to Christ, He had a plan for your life and He started right in to mold you and shape you and transform you into the image of Christ.  He will keep doing so until you go to be with Him in Glory, or He returns for His children.

Be confident!  He has begun working in you and He WILL finish.
