Daybook - 06.11.12

FOR TODAY, MONDAY, JUNE 11TH

Outside my window
...cloudy and 75° ... a slight chance of much-needed rain ...

I am thinking..
. today is the beginning of VBS!

I am thankful...for VBS directors ... who are not me ...

In the kitchen...riblets, baked beans, corn, baked sweet potatoes

I am wearing...Cheetah top with beige capris, brown sandals and cheetah purse

I am creating...a God-honoring life

I am going... to need a nap ...

I am reading..."River's Call" by Melody Carlson

I am looking forward to... my next day off ...

Around the house... my knock out rose bush is blooming like crazy and so are my geraniums.

A favorite quote for today... "You get wages for everything you do." (Travis Schroeder)

The law of sowing and reaping determines what kind of wages.  Sowing sin means reaping death ...Let's take it a step further ... Are you sowing discord and negativity into your life by the things you say?  By the thoughts you are allowing your mind to dwell on?

One of my favorite things...baked sweet potatoes with butter.

A few plans for the rest of the week: finishing up my Psalm 12 lesson, family movie night on Thursday.

A peek into my day...

Flowers around my house
