FOR TODAY
Outside my window... back to a cool morning, 34°, and it is only supposed to warm up about 10°. Yet the weekend had temps of almost 70. I'm confused!
I am thinking...I'm going to put up a couple freezer meals to have ready to take to funeral dinners or to people's homes when they are sick. I never seem to have time to take care of this when it is actually needed!
I am thankful...to live in a wonderful country where soldiers are willing to give their lives for our freedom. A soldier with connections to our community was killed in Afghanistan. It's heartwarming to see the support for this soldier's family. Remember, our soldiers are not drafted, they serve willingly.
In the kitchen...homemade pizza tonight.
I am wearing...black jeans, black and purple animal print top, purple sweater
I am creating...my own little corner of the world. I'm "Queen of my Domain." ... or, another way to look at it, I'm responsible for where God has placed me.
I am going...to Wal-mart AGAIN today... boy it gets old ...
I am wondering...if I will be able to volunteer at my church when I'm age 90 like these ladies who volunteer in the library at the church where I work. These women are amazing!
I am reading...no time for reading right now - unless you count reading blogs!
I am hoping...to accomplish some things that God has put on my heart.
I am looking forward to...what I feel God has in store.
I am learning... to be a person of excellence.
Around the house...
I am pondering...a couple ideas I have for a bible lesson.
A favorite quote for today...
"For the Lord God will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded, therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed" (Is 50:7 AV).
One of my favorite things...quiet time. The most amazing ideas come when you are silent and not distracted.
A few plans for the rest of the week: a ladies meeting and studying ahead.

Good morning! Just wanted to tell you that my daughter (15) and I made the taco cupcakes you posted last week - they were great! My son (17) said YOU HAVE TO MAKE THESE AGAIN!! And he ate one for breakfast this morning :)

ReplyDeleteWe are on our second day of 70 degree temperatures! It is amazing for Missouri in March! I too am working on trying to find quiet time. It seems like I am in a season of "organizing" and "resettling". I long for some quiet... I love your place here! I would follow you but I don't use google anymore. Maybe you could get Linky...?
