Hello! It's wonderful Friday, again! On Fridays, I like to join in with a great group of bloggers for Friday's Fave Five. The focus of FFF is to think back over our week and choose 5 positive things that made us smile or lifted our spirits.
I had another week where really nothing earth shaking happened. Just a regular week filled with little joys and everyday happenings. In other words, I was just living life.
1. Wheel of Fortune: I am a game show fanatic, and Wheel of Fortune is one of my favorites. I don't get to watch it often because if I have any meetings or anything, I need to be leaving the house right at the time it comes on. This week, I got to watch it twice. I love to shout out the answer before the contestant solves it, which I am sure is annoying to the other people in the house! I would have won mucho dinero if I had been in front of the camera instead of behind it!
2. Santa Fe soup: This week I tried Lisa Write's recipe. It was yum! It tasted even better the second day when I took it in my lunch.
3. Here's another favorite picture of Malia's senior pictures. (Okay, they're all my favorites! I promise, I'm not going to make you look at all 34 of them)
4. Quote of the week: "Be persuaded, timid soul," writes Archbishop Fenelon, in his SPIRITUAL LETTERS TO WOMEN, "that He has loved you too much to cease loving you." Quoted by Elisabeth Elliot
5. Candles: I've been burning candles every day this week. Love it! Last night, I used a new candle, Febreeze's Hawaiian Aloha scented candle. Smells wonderful!

We love Wheel of Fortune too! When you beat the contestants on the show doesn't it just make you feel so smart? :)
ReplyDeleteYour daughter's pictures are gorgeous. I am loving the new trend of photos and it makes me want to gather my kids and granddaughter and do some new family pictures.
That's another beautiful picture of your daughter. Glad you showed it to us. It must be fun to watch you participate in your fave game show :D. I love the quote, and burning candles? Maybe I should start burning mine too. They've been lying in my drawer since 2006. I have never touched them since I got back from England lol...
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday.
your daughter looks beautiful and I love the color of her dress.
ReplyDeleteI like the wheel of fortune too.
=D I used to LOVE watching Wheel of Fortune! Wow, it's been a long time since I've seen it. How fun.
ReplyDeleteCandles in the fall. How calm and peaceful!
Hope you have a great weekend!
Yeah, I'd be pretty rich too after having won so many Wheel of Fortune games from easy chair.
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice picture. Her pose really shows off her gorgeous dress.
popping in for a short visit.
ReplyDeleteEvery time someone mentions candles I can smell them, overactive imagination.
She is lovely to look at, proud mom
Maybe one day you’ll get to be on the Wheel of Fortune and win some real cash!
ReplyDeleteI love Malia’s picture. They sure do senior portraits a lot different these days than when I was in school, leaning up against a tree like everybody else. ha.
My husband is a huge Jeopardy fan, so now I am too.
ReplyDeleteYour daughter's photo is beautiful! Love that dress!
Your daughter's photo is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWe watch Wheel of Fortune sometimes, too. My husband keeps saying I should apply to be a contestant, but I'm so shy: I know I'd just freeze!
Hi Jerri!
ReplyDeleteOh this photo of your daughter is so great. I love the surroundings and that dress! Lovely.
I've always enjoyed Wheel of Fortune. My dad watches it every night :0)

ReplyDeleteHappy Friday, Happy Fall!
We used to watch Wheel & Jeopardy every night when we were newlyweds; we don't watch it much anymore. The picture of your daughter was stunning; what a beautiful young woman!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love candles, especially Bath & Body Works and Fabreze candles.
Sounds like you've had a great week full of comforts. Love that bright color on your daughter -- suits her beautifully.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful daughter, for certain! I've got an available son:)

Loved the senior pic! This sounds like fun. Maybe I can join Friday's Fave Five soon! Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteI used to ALWAYS know the answer on Wheel of Fortune first too! But I figure if I actually got ON the show, I'd always hit bankrupt thus never winning a penny anyway! (this is how I console myself...)
ReplyDeleteIf all of Malia's pictures are THAT cute (and thus far they have been) I wish you WOULD make us look at all of them!
Your daughter is beautiful...I know you must be so proud of her!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great quote...I don't remember reading it before...
Oh beautiful post for FFF and love your daughter's picture...she looks so fabulous here.
