FOR TODAY... October 19, 2009, Edition
Outside my window... cool fall morning - there is frost on the van's windshield!
I am thinking... how fast the days are flying by ...
I am thankful for... the promise, "I'll never leave you" from my Savior.
I am wearing... gray slacks, black cami, and red blazer.
I am remembering... all the examples of faithfulness that I have seen in my life. Yesterday, I started making a list of all the faithful servants of the Lord that I have known over the years. I'm not finished yet, but I hope to share them with you soon.
I am going... to give God all the praise!
I am reading... a Deborah Raney novel, "Remember to Forget." Sounds very interesting ...
I am hoping... to be a blessing.
On my mind... people from my past. Again, I've been thinking about their example to me.
Noticing that... Wal-Mart always discontinues carrying products that I really like!
Pondering these words... "Faithfulness in little things is a big thing." Chrysostom
From the kitchen... Fried Chicken Drumsticks, Baked Sweet Potatoes, Green Beans
Around the house... peace and quiet.
One of my favorite things~ grapes!
From my picture journal...
Blast from the past: picture of Elissa's first Christmas. Her Dad SAID he was buying the basketball for her, but I think it was for him.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I agree with you about Walmart......it's very frustrating. Have a wonderful day in the Lord.
ReplyDeleteOh, that picture is adorable! Gotta love a dad that doesn't hesitate to do "guy stuff" with his girls, I have a dad like that. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd you ARE a blessing. Your love for God and positive attitude shine through all your posts and encourage us all. Have a great day!
Amen...you are a blessing! I have been remembering my dear relatives that have gone on to glory and being just so thankful that I know I will see them again....
ReplyDeleteThat picture is so cute!
I love reading your Mondays!! Hope your week is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteYou sound like a woman who is a blessing to everyone around her. I love the picture. I've noticed a lot of people are having sweet potatoes. They are so good. I hope you have a wonderful week. Doylene
ReplyDeleteHe is so faithful, and always there.
ReplyDeleteAnd I thought it was just my favorite things walmart discontinued.
Cute picture, I remember more than one present a child "needed" and a dad wanted.
Hope you are having a great week.
