This is a subject near and dear to my heart. I am so thankful for the beauties of nature! I love nothing better than photos of flowers and landscapes showing the beauties that God has made. It's so spectacular! He could have just created the earth with the bare necessities to sustain life, but He went way beyond that. Our God is an extravagant God!
I do not understand how people can actually believe that all this beauty "evolved." When you consider:
the beautiful sunsets ...
the awe-inspiring oceans and beaches ...
gorgeous flowers (and so many different kinds!) ...
lush trees and cool inviting forests ...
the mighty rivers and green hills ...
azure blue skies and white fluffy clouds ...
the fields and grasses ...
the awe-inspiring oceans and beaches ...
gorgeous flowers (and so many different kinds!) ...
lush trees and cool inviting forests ...
the mighty rivers and green hills ...
azure blue skies and white fluffy clouds ...
How can you not believe there is a God? I think of this scripture:
"For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God." Romans 1:20
I am so appreciative of the beautiful world God has created for us to enjoy. I will forever be grateful. Just imagine the wonders we will see in Heaven if it's so wonderful here on earth!
Such a lovely post.
ReplyDeleteHi, Jerri,
ReplyDeleteYour thoughts are so inspiriing. I enjoyed the pics of so many ways to think of His creation. You're right, He could have just gave us a plain earth, but He didn't. It is awe inspiring. What a thankful thought!
Great photos of God's creation!! Thanks for visiting my site.
ReplyDeleteGreat posting Jerri!... & there's still more countless examples of the awesome greatness of His design! :)
ReplyDeleteGod's creation is so diverse and awesome. I am sorry about the ice storm. I lived through at least a couple in Portland, OR years ago. Now, on the Gulf Coast of Texas, ice storms are non-existent. The snow was such a miracle for here. So many folks here had never even seen snow! Old and young!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your photos. I would love to be able to walk down a tree-lined path! Where are you? !!! I am on my way!

You know, half the beauty of the earth is that it's so diverse - so many different components to it.
