FOR TODAY... MAY 11th EDITION
Outside my window... cars passing by on their way to work ...
I am thinking... of ways I can show love to my family, friends, and people that God puts in my path.
I am thankful for... my family. Years ago, Mother's Day was painful for me because I couldn't have children. Then God blessed me with 3 daughters and turned my tears into joy!
From the kitchen... crock pot barbecue, stuffed potato skins, baked beans and corn on the cob.
I am wearing... black pants, black, fuschia & white top, white earrings, and silver bracelet (Mother's Day gifts!)
I am creating... nothing at the moment, but there are ideas simmering on the back burner of my mind.
I am going... to keep on keeping on.
I am reading... "It Takes So Little to Be Above Average" by Florence Littauer. I've just started this book but the idea seems to be about putting a little more effort into things. That seems a revolutionary idea because it seems to me that most people try to avoid extra effort!
I am hoping... for more wisdom in the area of teaching my Sunday School class. I'm excited because the Word promises that if we ask for wisdom, He will give it liberally!
I am hearing... the hum of the fan. Soon it will be the sound of the air conditioner compresser!
Around the house...things are pretty well under control ...
One of my favorite things...comments from my readers!
A few plans for the rest of the week: continuing with my fitness goals, some bike riding, working earlier in the week with preparing my lesson (something I struggle with a lot!).
Here is picture thought I am sharing...

There's nothing better than being called "Mom"! Good luck with your SS Class!
ReplyDeleteIsn't the crock pot the best invention since, like, the wheel?! I just love how it makes a homemakers life easier. Your girls are totally beautiful. Our children are truly a gift from the Lord.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my daybook. Have a blessed week.
Happy Belated Mother's Day - your 3 blessings are beautiful! :O) Did they have a nice time at their prom? I love the colors of their dresses - so pretty!
ReplyDeleteThey are getting ready for prom here locally. It is a big event and many people will park their cars at the school just to watch the couples come in. Some drive in on a tractor. ;O) Yes I have definitely moved to the country!
Have a wonderful week dear lady!
