Grateful for Jesus' prayers of intercession!
34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written:
“For Your sake we
are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”
37 Yet in all these things we are more
than conquerors through Him who loved us.
Father,
You know some of us had it rough last week; and this week is also jam-packed with things to do. When we feel
tempted to whine, let us remember You are praying for us; and if Paul and the
early Christians can be more than a conqueror; so can we.
I thank You for
Your prayers for us. Not sure I’ve ever thanked You before about those prayers;
but I’m truly grateful. If our prayers can be effective like James tells us,
how much more effective Yours are!
We love You and
honor You.
Today, I’m asking
for peace, protection and safety for our school kids, teachers, staff and
administration. I ask You to place angels strategically around them all and
guard them with Your eye!
In Jesus’ name,
so be it, amen.

What a beautiful reminder, Jerralea, to pause and intentionally give thanks for the countless ways God shows His faithfulness in our lives! Your post encourages me to look beyond the big, obvious blessings and recognize the smaller, everyday gifts that are so easy to overlook. I especially love how you focus on being grateful even in the mundane—what a powerful way to cultivate a heart of praise! Thank you for inspiring us to slow down and savor God’s goodness in all seasons. Your words are a true blessing! And, thank you for linking up at InstaEncouragements this week! :) Blessings to you!
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting, Patsy. Yes, I believe it's important to slow down and savor the blessings all around us. They are there, if we but look for them!
