Since I am literally on the road 7 days a week, anytime I know I can stay home all day, I can’t keep a grin off my face. With my stay-cation last week, I was able to totally stay home 3 days, and most of a fourth day. I. Love. My. Home.

I heard a sermon about the Potter and the clay.
(See Jeremiah 18 for the whole story.) What struck me in hearing this sermon
again was the idea the Potter has a vision for the clay; but the clay must be
in the right condition before it can be used. A lack of devotion to God hinders
the molding of our clay ….
Am I in the right condition to be molded?

Sometimes it is okay to let go of something:
3 There’s an opportune time to do things, a right time for everything on the earth:
2-8 A right time for birth and another for death, A right time to plant and another to reap, A right time to kill and another to heal, A right time to destroy and another to construct, A right time to cry and another to laugh, A right time to lament and another to cheer, A right time to make love and another to abstain, A right time to embrace and another to part, A right time to search and another to count your losses, A right time to hold on and another to let go, A right time to rip out and another to mend, A right time to shut up and another to speak up, A right time to love and another to hate, A right time to wage war and another to make peace. The Message (MSG) Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

Glad the twins are thankful, but we know not of what dinosaur Brody speaks!

I'm linking this post up with Inspire Me Monday and #TellHisStory.
Hope your days at home were everything you dreamed of!! Sounds wonderful (although I cannot even imagine being on the road every single day!!)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun list! Staying home IS lovely! Fortunately I get to walk to work, so I do very little driving. I must save all the driving up for summers, because I manage to be gone for months at a time and drive thousands of miles ;).
