Invited into His Presence #12

Enter his gates with thanksgiving,
    and his courts with praise!
Give thanks to him; bless his name!
... Psalm 100:4

Since we live in this dispensation of grace, one of the blessings I'm thankful we have is the ability to enter God's presence whenever we so choose.

Day or night. No matter where we are physically, we can spiritually enter the throne room of Heaven!

It used to be that only the high priest could go into the Holy place.

On that momentous Day, when Jesus was crucified as a ransom for many, the veil separating God from man was torn from top to bottom. We are free to approach the Father on our own.

As Psalm 100:4 says, the best way to enter the throne room is with a thankful heart praising the matchless, Eternal One, the El-Shaddai, the God of more than enough.

  1. I was pondering the other day the awesome wonder of this privilege! Yet, strangely enough, like so many other special things in our lives, we can come to take it for granted. A little time in Exodus and Leviticus can renew our awe and appreciation for this wondrous gift.
