Daybook:05.11.15

For Today... Monday, May 11th

Outside my window...rainy skies.

I am thinking...how blessed I am - my middle daughter just became a homeowner of a house a half mile away, and now the twins will be raised where I can share in their lives. My other daughter lives a mile away.  My third daughter lives less than an hour away so I'm blessed to be able to see all of them whenever I want. After having Janae and Daniel living across the country for 4 years, I really appreciate the close proximity to my family.

I am thankful...for my first Mother's Day as a Mom and a MiMi, all my children and grandchildren were able to have dinner with us!

I am wearing...my multi-colored striped ruffled top and black jeans and black cami.

I am reading... "The Love Letters" by Beverly Lewis

I am hoping... to plant flowers on my porch ... soon.

In my kitchen...sigh ... not a lot going on in there right now. I'll have to visit Pinterest for inspiration.

A peek into one of my days...

Mimi and Baylee at O'Charley's

One of my favorite things... cards from my children with heartfelt messages inside. They are my prized possessions.

  5. Hi Jerralea! I like Kelly Balarie's place, she always has words of value there.

You are so blessed to have your children so close, especially the grands. My kids are both out of state, and I wish they were closer. Oh well. We're going to visit my son and DIL next month. They are due with #2 baby at the end of May. Can't wait!
    Blessings,

  7. How wonderful to have your family all close by to you! That is such a blessing that I find is easy to take for granted. You don't realize just how much you miss your family so deeply in your heart until they are so far away. And that photo is just too sweet :) Happy belated mother's day to you, Jerralea! And an extra special one at celebrating it with added meaning with your grandbabies this year.

    God Bless you always.
Hugs and blessings, and wishing you a wonderful day!
