Daybook: 05.26.15

For Today... Tuesday, May 26

Outside my window... gray clouds, sprinkles and humidity ...

I am thinking... that holidays mess me up. I'm too tired after having too much fun ... It's difficult to get back in the groove!

I am thankful... for those who gave their lives so that America could be free. It is a precious precious gift that should never be forgotten.

I am wearing... white jean crops, white sandals and a black, white, teal and orange geometric print top.

I am creating... a new bullet journal. I filled up all the pages - and I do mean filled.  I'm a big fan of bullet journals. It definitely helps keep me organized.

I am reading... a new Lisa Samson book, "A Thing of Beauty."  I love Lisa's books because her characters are quirky but so real and truthful.

I am learning... how attached I am to my phone.  Last night, it got misplaced and I was all, "How am I going to wake up with setting my phone alarm on?" Luckily I retraced my steps though the day and finally figured out where it had to be. I may or may not have stayed up until midnight looking for the crazy thing ...

In my garden... I still have empty pots but plants have now been bought to fill them!

In my kitchen... are lots of leftovers from our Memorial Day cookout.

A favorite quote for today...

The order of those two sentences is the essence of Christianity:

No Condemnation.

Come just as you are into Transformation.

Change the order of those two lines? And you lose the essence of Christianity….

you lose Christ...

A peek into one of my days...

My loves

One of my favorite things... the colors aqua and turquoise

  1. I so understand the holiday thing. Today was terrible at work. I was so sleepy and the day went on forever! :)
What a beautiful bunch of ladies (and little gent). You must be one proud momma (grandma)!

  4. Betty, I did call my phone but it immediately went to voicemail and didn't ring at all! I found it on top of my fridge - which I did look up there, but I'm so short I didn't see it was in the back!
