FOR TODAY, MONDAY, MARCH 2
Outside my window... brilliant sunshine and slowly melting snowdrifts, but rain and snow both are in this week's forecast. We will see what happens.
I am thinking... of something I read lately about doing things that nourish my inner self. You can't give out if you don't put good things in. I am thinking about the things that build me up. One is light. Sunlight, and even lamplight, is very important to me. I can't tell you why but when I am outside and feeling the sun's rays on me, it is almost as if I am a sponge soaking it all in. Later on, I will share more things that feed my soul.
What about you? What is it that nourishes your soul?
I am thankful... that I know the true Light. Jesus is the light, and there is no shadow of darkness in Him. (See James 1:17) Must be one of the many reasons I want to be in His presence!
In the kitchen... broiled pork steak. I'm thinking of making a new recipe for homemade mac and cheese to go with it.
I am wearing... dark jeans and a coral top. I'm still wearing boots and multiple socks.
I am creating... nothing right now, but I got ideas ...
I am going...straight home to get ready for dinner. Most of my family is coming tonight.
I am reading... "The Great House of God" by Max Lucado and "Child of Mine" by David and Beverly Lewis.
I am hoping and praying ...for Daniel's safety in Kuwait.
I am looking forward to... the next time I see the twins. My MiMi heart is so attached to them!
Around the house... I've put out a few spring items. If I put out more, will spring really come?
A favorite quote for today...
Psalm 143:8 says, Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go for to you I entrust my life.
One of my favorite things... new ideas. I get all excited when inspiration strikes!
A few plans for the rest of the week: playing with the babies, leading a bible study this week on 2 Peter 1 IF we don't get snowed out (bible study night is when the heavy snow is forecast), working on my A-to-Z Challenge posts. This year's challenge is more labor intensive. Come March 23 to my big reveal to see why!
A peek into my day... Will our shed look like this again this week?

We have snow in our forecast as well this week. I am so not happy! Stay warm and safe! Have a great week!

I hope your few spring things do the trick. You all must be very tired of all the snow.
